This episode we watched Unbreakable and next time we'll be back with Signs. Unbreakable is a movie I had basically never heard of, so that's fun. In a million years I couldn't have told you that M Night immediately followed up on the success of The Sixth Sense with another Bruce Willis movie. And it's a superhero movie. I think you could fairly call it the first modern superhero movie but I've got nothing to back that up with. I can tell you it really feels like a prototype for all the pre-iron man superhero movies of the 00s. Bruce Willis plays David Dunn, a security guard failing as a husband and a father who has to come to terms with the fact that he has superpowers, under the guidance of Samuel L Jackson's mysterious and wealthy character Elijah Price. The Sixth Sense is so famous for it's twist ending that, as someone who had never seen it before, i think it's regrettably stopped being famous for being really good. It's really good! Malcolm Crowe is a successful and respected child psychologist, until one night an old patient, still suffering, breaks into his home and attacks him, shaking his confidence and ruining his marriage. A year later, he's found another boy, very much like the one he failed, and he's determined to get it right this time. But if you can believe it, not everything is as it seems.   Thanks everyone for listening to all of Media Club Plus's inaugural season! And a special thank you to everyone who wrote in questions. I'm happy to say it's not truly over yet, as we have at least TWO if not three more season 1 bonus episodes to do, including the extremely late next part of our Dragon Ball Z coverage.
