We’re talking how there should be other types of Slayers to help Buffy carry the load, get super excited about the return of the king (Howie Gordon), how much we love bad guys in love, and one of us really struggles to process the fact that Spike is English. We wonder how Angel, Spike, and Drusilla’s Anne Rice book club would go, cheer for Joyce having her moment, get very intrigued by certain Principal Snyder plot developments, and thank Spike for ridding us of the Anointed Boy once and for all. This week we are back from summer vacation with a serious attitude while we discuss “When She Was Bad”! We’re talking the return of the mysterious ice cream place, whether there are Buffy/Xander stans, that Moloch somehow made the jump to the Season 2 credits, Joyce and Hank being Buffy’s servants, the hype vampire losing us in a single moment, and Snyder thinking he and Giles are buddies. We draft some Angel diary entries, give serious thought to an X-Files soundboard, laugh at Giles trying soda like a real American, and wonder whether crossplay is a thing. And just a helpful reminder: HURT PEOPLE HURT PEOPLE.

This week we are having our climactic encounter with the Master while we discuss “Prophecy Girl”! We’re talking whether the Slayer gets overtime pay, that Joyce is really going to have to work harder to move up in the Giles love-interest rankings, adding another letter to the Scooby Gang, the three-headed worm being the Master’s fur baby, and Cyber Giles' role in Season 2. We waste some time by going on the Bones Wiki, get excited at our final air jiggle, wonder if Angel even knows what CPR is, and track the similarities between Joyce and Skyler White. RIP The Master. He wasn’t a real one, but we loved him anyway.
