Jace and Rocky chat aobut he DC Comics titles for the week of June 18, 2025. A stellar week with some very solid titles. Superman Unlimited #2 picks up right where the first issue left off and things are going to be very challenging for the Man of Steel going forward with Kryptonite ever and a new power that is both a blessing and a curse. Detective Comics gives up a Batman/Penguin Team-up that is both formidable and funny, while the bond that we know exists between Batman and Robin begins to show in Year One. Absolute Flash gives us a glimpse at another Absolute version of a classic Rogues character, but will Wally be up to taking him on? Catwoman continues to be a complex story that may read better as a trade and in New Gods when the refugees arrive on Earth they are met with both empathy and hostility in equal measure until John Stewart takes matters into his own hands. Finally, Krypto is getting a detailed origin like we have never seen before and its a great balance of fun and emotional moments. Area 51 Studios Kickstarter Spotlight with Ernie Altbacker
Jace is joined by veteran animation writer Ernie Altbacker to chat about Area 51 Studios. Based on a prose story Ernie wrote a few years ago, this is Ernie's first foray into comics. With the same fun and adventuresome sensibility Ernie has brought to many DC animated adations, Area 51 Studios reveals that the legendary secretive military base is actually a movie studio where aliens show up to create low budget galactic reality shows. With such an out there premise and great art from Josh White, you have the makings of something really special. Considering Ernie's connections in animation, there is every chance this ends up as a TV show so grab your copy before you miss out!

Resident Alien Season Four Preview with Cast & Showrunner
Jace is joined by Allison from FlickDirect to chat with the cast and showrunner of Resident Alien. Lead by the superb Alan Tudyk, the show is returning for it's fourth season with epsiodes being broadcast on both USA and SyFy. This incredibly talented cast makes the most of excellent writing from their team of behind the scenes creatives led by showrunner Chris Sheridan. The result is a perfect blend of drama, comedy and most importantly emotional story telling that has a point. Season Four picks up where the previous season left off with the titular Resident Alien, portrayed by Tudyk, trapped on the moon as a deadly Mantid alien impersonates him on earth. It doesn't take long to get right into the action and heart fans of the series have come to love.
