  • 10x10 Photobooks : "The historiography of photobooks has been too narrow."
    In this episode, The Photobook features Olga Yatskevich and Russet Lederman,  the co-founders of 10 x 10 Photobooks, an organisation that is synonymous with the dissemination and understanding of photobooks today. Founded in 2012, 10 x 10 has fostered engagement with the global photobook community through reading rooms, salons, publications, online communities and research grants. In 2018, 10 x 10 published a pivotal anthology called How We See: Photobooks by Women that finally acknowledged a feminist history of bookmaking. It was soon followed by What They Saw: Historical Photobooks by Women and Flashpoint!- two recent publications edited by Olga and Russet - that continue to showcase diverse perspectives and practices.
