Tiny Theologians

In today’s episode of the Tiny Theologians Easter series, we visit the temple in Jerusalem and discover the meaning behind the dove. Join TJ and Tory as they learn what it really means that Jesus “cleansed” the temple—not by scrubbing it clean, but by clearing out what didn’t belong. As they explore this moment, they begin to see how much Jesus cares about true worship and honoring God’s presence. Today’s symbol is the dove, which reminds us of God’s Spirit and His presence with His people. Through this story, we learn that Jesus was preparing the way for something greater—that through His death and resurrection, God would no longer dwell only in a building, but in His people by His Spirit.

Join TJ and Tory as they imagine the excitement of the crowd welcoming Jesus into the city—waving branches, laying down their cloaks, and shouting “Hosanna!” Along the way, they discover that Jesus is not the kind of king people expected, but the true King God promised. Today’s symbol is the palm branches, which remind us that Jesus is our Savior King—the One who came to save His people through His life, death, and resurrection.
