This weekend on TodayFM’s Little Reader Book Club, we met Tom Collins, who’s nearly eight and already a passionate reader and keen golfer! Tom won a €50 book voucher, a special bookworm T-shirt, and a reading certificate for taking part. He chatted about his twin brothers, school life, and excitement for an upcoming county hurling final. Tom’s also raising funds for sick children through the annual Trick or Treat campaign with Children’s Health Foundation. Well done, Tom—what a superstar!

The brand new season of Is It Cake? Halloween dropped on Netflix this weekend and we have one of the stars of the show! Her name is Corinna Maguire and she is an award-winning baking artist based in Oranmore in Galway!!

Corinna says the tv show is one of the most fun experiences she has had and it is a true joy behind the scenes. She chats about growing up between Ireland and Alberta and why baking became her much-needed creative outlet.

Corinna has won numerous Gold medals at international cake decorating competitions and been named one of Ireland and the UK’s Best Cake Decorators.
She is known for making over-the-top, eye-catching, sculptural cakes. YES! That hippo is a cake! Her Instagram is filled with the most insane, incredible creations.
