169 // ADHD Nervous System Dysregulation, with Dr. Roseann Capanna-Hodge

    20/08/2026 | 48 mins.
Nervous-system regulation in ADHD vs. emotional regulation in ADHD, what's the difference? This is one of the fascinating questions we will explore in today's episode.

Dr. Roseann, author of The Dysregulated Kid, Board Certified clinician, founder of the Global Institute of Children's Mental Health and host of the Dysregulated Kids podcast, joins me today to talk all about nervous system regulation.

    Today's episode answers questions like:

    What does dysregulation look like?

How can we regulate our nervous-system (as women with ADHD)?

When is it dysregulation vs. misbehaving?

I hope you find something helpful, hopeful or encouraging in today's episode. Thanks for listening!

168 // What Courage in ADHD Looks Like

    18/08/2026 | 12 mins.
What does it mean to be courageous when you have ADHD?

I think we often don't recognize the courage we've shown as women with ADHD. Trying again after rejection? That takes courage. Explaining what it's like to have ADHD to someone? That takes courage. Self-advocating? That takes courage.

In today's episode, I will help you recognize where you've shown courage, where you can grow in courage and how it will help improve your opportunities, relationships, purpose and joy as someone with ADHD.

I hope you find something helpful or encouraging in today's episode. Thanks for being here!

What would change if you felt hopeful?

When all we hear are the negatives, it can start to feel hopeless. I want to be that place where you can come to be reminded that you are enough, you are loved and there is hope.

Hope that we can learn and grow. Hope that we are good. Hope that we have incredible gifts to offer the world. Hope that we can feel better about ourselves and our lives.

I hope you are encouraged by today's episode and reminded that there is hope.
