On the program part one of a two part conversation with Bud Provin from Nickwackett Garage in Vermont. Bud was one of the first guests on the program when we launched a few years back, so if you are wanting to learn more about Bud and his personal history, dig into the show archives.
Today though, we’ll be asking Bud to go in the way-back machine and recall his days as a certified tech at both Bob’s BMW and his own shop to reminisce about design changes on 247 models from 1978-1984. Additionally and just as informative, we’ll start out the show with a discussion on ignition systems—starting with traditional points and going thru evolution of electronic systems.
