This episode features an old tale from Scotland - all about the power of a name. There are many versions of this tale from around the world: Rumplestiltskin, Tom Tit Tot, Ricdin Ricdon. But Whuppity Stoorie is by far our favourite.

This story is a very famous Japanese fairytale - Momotaro, the Peach boy. He is a famous hero in Japanese folklore and there is a statue of him and his animal companions in Okoyama. (a bit like the Bremen Town Musicians!)

Our story comes from the Louisiana Bayou. It's a Cajun story, and you can learn more about Louisiana and the rich Cajun culture HERE.
