(3:42) Bible Study from Maccabees – 1 & 2 Maccabees are often neglected but are very important for us in understanding the plan of God. Did you know the New Testament is a lot thinner than the Old Testament? That is because the New Testament is simply the fulfillment of the Old Testament. As Catholics, we need to consider the history of salvation, and reading Maccabees can help us do that.
