As we continue our series on Creationism 101, Paul and Todd tackle Genesis 5-6, which include the genealogy of Adam's son Seth and the world before the Flood. Topics include exploring the intriguing similarities between Cain's and Seth's genealogies, the debate over the identity of the "sons of God" and "daughters of men," and the rather surprising literary structure of the story of Noah's Ark and the global flood. 27/06/2026 | 1h 1 mins.
We apologize for the lateness of this episode. In this episode of "Let’s Talk Creation," hosts Todd Wood and Paul Garner are joined by returning guest Joe Francis for a deep look at the crazy world of viruses. Framed in the context of God's good design, Dr. Francis and our hosts explore the purposes and functions of viruses beyond just agents of disease. Because God made the world "very good," every oneof his creations must have had a part in that goodness. Based on surprising new research, you're sure to gain a new appreciation for viruses and the complexity of God's creation.
Plus: Upcoming events will be discussed. You won't want to miss these events.Materials Mentioned in this episode

Episode 137: Creation is Fallen! with Ken Coulson

    18/05/2026 | 1h 5 mins.
Ken Coulson from @CreationUnfolding joins Paul and Todd to talk about his new book Creation is Fallen: The Curse, Animal Suffering, and the Problem of Natural Evil (https://amzn.to/4dpiOUe). As theologians continue to try to reconcile evolution and the Christian faith, more scholars advocate doing away with the traditional doctrine of the fall. In this episode, Ken explains in detail why that just won't work. Through careful study of the Bible and basic moral and philosophical reasoning, Ken's book helps us to understand the origin of the suffering in our world.Episodes Mentioned in this episodeKen's new book Creation is Fallen:https://amzn.to/4dpiOUeKen's channel:https://www.youtube.com/@CreationUnfoldingJon Garvey's God's Good Earth: The Case for an Unfallen Creationhttps://amzn.to/4tFR1VJ📫Send questions to podcast@coresci.orgSupport our work🔬📖Donate to Support the Mentoring of the Next Generation of Creation Scholars https://coresci.org/index.php/sanders-scholars/🔬Join Todd’s Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/researchreports🎁Give to the Core Academy general fund https://coresci.org/donate🎁Support the podcast by going to https://letstalkcreation.org🏫Support Paul’s work at Biblical Creation Trust and the Cambridge House Project at https://www.biblicalcreationtrust.org/⛺Come to the Core Academy Spring RetreatGet Tickets here: https://coresci.org/smokiesOr email info@coresci.org to get information on the next retreat 🎁Please consider supporting this work by going to https://coresci.org/connect or https://biblicalcreationtrust.orgSocial Media LinksLet’s Talk Creation Facebook https://www.facebook.com/LetsTalkCreationLet’s Talk Creation Instagram https://www.instagram.com/letstalkcreation/Core Academy of Science Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/coresci.org Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/coreacademyofscience/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/CoreacadInfo Website: https://coresci.org/Biblical Creation Trust Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/biblicalcreationtrustTwitter: https://twitter.com/bct_origins Website: https://www.biblicalcreationtrust.org/*Disclaimer: Things mentioned in the Show Notes are not endorsements of people, places, or things discussed in the podcast, but rather a record of what was spoken about and helpful links to material for our listeners.

    04/05/2026 | 1h
Our Creationism 101 series continues with the tale of Cain, Abel, and Cain's family. Todd and Paul chat about the nature of an acceptable sacrifice, the personification of sin, and the way Cain's descendants are described. They also give a brief overview of the genealogy in Genesis 5. And yes, because everyone still wants to know, they talk again about the mysterious origins of Cain's wife, which really aren't that mysterious after all.
