5 Key Areas I’m Decluttering Before School Starts (Because Chaos Isn’t the Vibe)
In this episode, I’m walking you through the five spots I’m decluttering and resetting before the school year kicks off — because let’s be honest, mornings are already wild enough without tripping over shoes or digging through a messy pantry.
These are the zones I’m focusing on to make the back-to-school transition smoother and saner for everyone:
The kids’ closets and drawers (because suddenly nothing fits??)
Our backpack and shoe storage (aka the disaster zone by the door)
The pantry — think easy grab-and-go lunch prep + after-school snack flow
My car, which has become a traveling trash can this summer
The drop zone where backpacks and shoes should land after school
I’m also sharing little tips that help me keep these spaces tidy (without having to overhaul them again next week) and why setting up a few of these systems ahead of time makes such a difference in how we all show up.
Let’s get organized — and stay in sync — for the season ahead.
✨ Thanks for listening! Come say hi over on Instagram: [@joellesuess] and share what YOU’RE resetting before school starts!

After a little summer break, I’m back — and in this episode, I’m catching you up on what’s been going on behind the scenes. I’m sharing both the highs and the hard stuff: everything from fun family days and slow mornings… to mental health struggles, sciatica flare-ups, and figuring out how to stay consistent with my habits when things feel heavy.
I also open up about:
Why I started this podcast in the first place — and what you can (and can’t) expect from it
What summer looked like in our home (think day camps, dance parties, and navigating allll the transitions)
How I’ve adjusted my workouts and movement routine — especially with back pain in the mix
What’s been helping most with my nutrition and supplement routine - get Protea Here
The emotional weight I’ve been carrying, and how I’m anchoring into small, supportive habits
Why making time for connection and community matters more than ever
This show has no business agenda — just creative, fun, real-life topics that I hope encourage you in your own wellness journey. Thanks for being here and listening — I’m so grateful for this space.

About LIVING IN SYNC | Lifestyle & Wellness for Women in their 30s
Welcome to the Living in Sync Podcast, I am your host Joelle Suess and on this podcast you are going to be hearing how you can live fully into the present moment of your life no matter what stage, season, or phase (of your cycle) you are in.
I have been an accidental entrepreneur for over a decade. I have experience in direct sales, course creation, 1;1 nutrition coaching, and everything in between. For a long time I put myself into a box. At first it was at home fitness, then it was intentional productivity as a mom, then it went back to hormone health and cycle syncing, and now I am just sharing it all with you. I am going to be sharing solo topic episodes as well as amazing guest conversations about all the things.
No matter if you are a stay at home mom, corporate climber, entrepreneur, or anything in between I hope you enjoy each weeks topics because it is going to be a blend of everything! Health, wellness, nutrition, and living in sync with your cycle will still be some of our highlighted topics but why do we have to be so obsessed with our bodies losing weight when life is so bountiful and beautiful. There is so much more to life!
I am in the midst of evolving, changing, and challenging myself!
If you are in for real life topics of conversation make sure you are following the show so you don’t miss an episode!
