Gemma gives us the inside story of Jack Murphy Jewellers, from her dad being in the jewellery trade for nearly 80 years and the family business celebrating 55 years, to becoming the youngest of four and eventually taking the business on herself.

We chat about the challenges of taking over during the recession, Gemma’s original plan to sell the business once things recovered, and how she ended up completely falling in love with it instead. From influencer marketing and changing jewellery trends to the complexity of gold prices, welded bracelets and the huge plans ahead for Jack Murphy Jewellers, there is so much to get into.

Gemma also opens up about life outside of work, moving house, her daughter and the incredible support she has from her husband Cathal, her family and friends.

September has arrived, which can only mean one thing… Holly’s season is here! 🍂 From cosy nights and autumn cooking to planning an autumn long weekend, Holly is fully embracing the new season - and she’s also fallen down a serious interior design rabbit hole as the plans for her house start to come together with new fabrics, wallpapers and plenty of inspiration.

Laura is back from an amazing holiday in Majorca, where she had some surprise guests, properly switched off and made the most of some much-needed downtime. She’s also navigating a big milestone as her son starts P1!

We’re chatting all things Love Laura, including the final week of the Belfast pop-up, how the store looked, what might be next, potential new units, Christmas plans and why the brand is now at a stage where the collections can really stand on their own.
