This week we head back into the archives to dig into the history of the comic book superteam and find out how the Avengers were created! From DC Comics putting together The Flash, Green Lantern, and their other heroes and creating the Justice Society Of America, to Marvel borrowing the concept and creating Captain America’s All Winners Squad during World War II. We’ll chart the debut of the Justice League and the Fantastic Four, the rise of Marvel Comics, and how that all led to the creation of The Avengers!
