Murray is a full-time professional nature and landscape photographer, educator, and workshop leader with more than 15 years of image making experience. Murray photographs all aspects of the landscape through long-term photographic projects focused on wild places across the world. He is based between Cape Town and the UK; when in Scotland, he explores remote pockets of the highlands in a self-built campervan. He is a deep thinker with interests in adventure & conservation, both of which he strives to communicate and teach through a deeply contemplative and introspective approach to photography.

Murray is also a workshop instructor and host of the International Speaker Series (and more!) with Nature Photography Collective.

Phil was born in 1965 in Durham, United Kingdom and now he is a photographer based in Sydney, Australia. He began exploring street photography in 2022 as a lunch break hobby, and his work has since been featured in several exhibitions across Sydney.

Phil’s photography is primarily black and white, focusing on mood and fleeting moments of urban life. He often experiments with slow shutter speeds and intentional camera movement to create abstract impressions of the city.

Alongside his artistic pursuits, Phil has a professional career as an osteopath and cancer pain researcher.
