SAINT COMPANION PRAYER
 - St. Peter, teach me to follow Jesus with a steadfast heart. When I stumble and must choose again, lead me back to the One to whom I give my life in love.

PRAYER OF LETTING GO
To You do I belong, O God,
 into Your hands I surrender my life.
 Pour out Your Spirit upon me
 that I may love You perfectly,
 and serve You faithfully
 until my soul rests in You.

"So when he had washed their feet [and] put his garments back on and reclined at table again, he said to them, “Do you realize what I have done for you? You call me ‘teacher’ and ‘master,’ and rightly so, for indeed I am. If I, therefore, the master and teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash one another’s feet. I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do. "

Jn 12:12-16
When the great crowd that had come to the feast heard 
that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 
they took palm branches and went out to meet him, and cried out:
    “Hosanna!
    “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord,
        the king of Israel.”
Jesus found an ass and sat upon it, as is written:
    Fear no more, O daughter Zion;
    see, your king comes, seated upon an ass’s colt.
His disciples did not understand this at first, 
but when Jesus had been glorified 
they remembered that these things were written about him 
and that they had done this for him.
