Sonia O'Sullivan on the 30th anniversary of becoming a world champion
Guest host Katie Kirk is joined by 1995 5,000m champion Sonia O'Sullivan on the 30th anniversary of her global gold. On August 12th, 1995, Sonia became the first Irish female world champion when she crossed the line in the 5k event in 14:46.47.In the episode, Sonia reflects on the pressure she put on herself and how she protected her energy by basing herself in London before the championships.
