Stop Deciding How Your Story Ends

    15/09/2026 | 14 mins.
Stop Deciding How Your Story Ends

When life feels hard, it’s so easy to start believing that this is just how things are going to be.
You hit a setback, something doesn’t go to plan, and suddenly your brain starts pulling together every piece of evidence that says, “See? Life is always hard. Things never work out for me.”
But what if the chapter you’re in right now isn’t the ending?

In this episode, Jude explores the psychology behind the stories and beliefs we create about our lives — and how quickly we can forget all the evidence that things have worked out before. When we’re focused on what’s going wrong, we can lose sight of the goals we’ve already achieved, the circumstances that have changed and the things that once felt impossible but are now our reality.
Jude shares how the belief cycle can keep reinforcing an old story, while the success cycle gives us a way to build new evidence, strengthen our beliefs and expand what we believe is possible.
And most importantly, this episode is a reminder that your current circumstances are not a prediction of your future.
If you’re in a difficult chapter right now, this is your reminder to hold on to hope, look at the evidence you already have and stop deciding how your story ends before you’ve even reached the next chapter.

    In this episode, you’ll discover:
Why your brain can focus so heavily on everything that’s going wrong
How your beliefs influence your thoughts, actions and results
The difference between the belief cycle and the success cycle
Why you may be forgetting the evidence that your life has changed
How to use your past experiences as proof that difficult chapters can turn around
Why hope can be a powerful antidote to anxiety and catastrophising
How to start creating a different expectation for what happens next

Your current chapter is not your ending.

    Why Isn’t Your Life Changing?

    08/09/2026 | 17 mins.
You want more. You know you’re capable of more. You’ve got goals, you’ve made changes, you’ve tried to move forward — so why does it sometimes feel like your life just isn’t changing?

What if the problem isn’t that you’re not trying hard enough?
What if you’re still living from an old story about who you are, what’s possible for you, and why things are difficult?
In this episode, Jude explores one of the biggest reasons people stay stuck: continuing to operate from an outdated version of themselves. Your past can explain you, but it doesn’t have to define you — and understanding where your patterns came from is only useful if it helps you change what happens next.
You’ll discover how the stories you repeatedly tell yourself can shape the way you see your circumstances, the decisions you make and what you believe is possible. Jude also explores how to stop using your past as evidence for why you can’t have the future you want, and instead start using your experiences as information to help you move forward.

    In this episode, you’ll discover:
Why you can desperately want more but still struggle to create change
How an old story can keep you operating from an outdated version of yourself
Why understanding your past is useful — but staying in the story can keep you stuck
How to look at difficult experiences for the data and lessons they contain
The questions that can help you identify the story you keep repeating about why life is hard
How to shift your attention and actions towards the life you actually want

Your past may explain where you’ve been. It doesn’t get to decide where you go next.

What If Your Anxiety Is Trying to Tell You Something?

What if the anxiety, overwhelm or low mood you're experiencing isn't something you need to push away—but something you need to listen to?
In this episode of the Unbreakable Mindset Podcast, Jude shares her own recent experience of feeling unexpectedly low while on holiday and the process she went through to figure out what was really going on beneath the surface.

Rather than ignoring the feeling or simply trying to "think positive", Jude explains why she sees difficult periods as a warning light—a signal that something needs your attention.

She explores how struggle can sometimes be a redirection, a lesson, or an opportunity to uncover something beneath the surface that you've been avoiding.
    You'll discover:

✨ Why pushing through difficult feelings isn't always the answer
✨ How to become your own detective when your mood dips
✨ Why anxiety and overwhelm can be warning signals
✨ The difference between working on the surface and going deeper
✨ How to identify what may be triggering your current struggle

Because your difficult thoughts don't necessarily need to be feared or pushed away.
They might be trying to tell you something.
