    Daniel Kelley-Petersen, MAEd, LMHC, LPC, NCC is a licensed mental health counselor in WA state and licensed professional counselor in the states of Arizona & Oregon. Dan owns and operates a private practice in Seattle, WA that began in 2015. Dan offers clinical supervision in Gestalt Therapy in both Oregon and Washington as well as Poland and Lithuania. He is passionate about learning and practicing Gestalt Therapy and exploring the intersection of Gestalt and Career Counseling. Dan expresses his passion through teaching as affiliate faculty at Seattle University in the Department of Counseling, offering and facilitating workshops and seminars on Gestalt Therapy in the PNW region as well as internationally.     Viktoras Keturakis, PhD, is a Gestalt psychotherapist and organizational consultant based in Vilnius, Lithuania, with over 20 years of private practice in individual and couples therapy. He is one of two founding partners of the Gestalt Psychotherapy Institute Dialogas (dialogas.net), where he trains and supervises Gestalt psychotherapists and co-leads the Gestalt Approach in Organizations program (gestaltin.org). He is also a board member of the Lithuanian Gestalt Psychotherapy Association. Viktoras is trained and certified by the Edinburgh Gestalt Institute (Scotland) and GATLA (Los Angeles), and currently serves on the faculty at GATLA European Summer Residentials. He trains Gestalt psychotherapists internationally and works with organizations applying the Gestalt approach to leadership and human development. Together with his wife, Vilija Girgždė PhD, he specializes in couples therapy and differentiation (coupledialogue.com).

    This episode features guest host Kristen R Myers, PsyD, DrPH, MA.
    Kristen R Myers, PsyD, DrPH, MA, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, GATLA-certified gestalt psychotherapist. She works as a clinic Site Director, Co-director of the Seattle GATLA training program and owns a private practice. She completed doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology (with a specialization in Health Psychology) and in Public Health (with a specialization in Preventive Care) at Loma Linda University. Kristen has trained in and practiced Gestalt Therapy since 2005 and joined the faculty in 2016. She is passionate about self-acceptance, connection, interdependence and agency. She approaches her professional life and personal life with values for inherent growth and wholeness-orientation of all living beings. Also core for her are the importance of non-pathologizing, anti-oppression and the importance of the impact of one’s developmental and current environment on well-being and health. She works with individuals, couples, families and groups. Experience includes working through trauma, grief and loss, eating disorders and attachment difficulties.

    GATLA European Residential Info Session

    We are happy to announce that GATLA's 53rd Summer Residential will be held in Brno, Czech Republic from July 19th - 31st. Come join Doug Aberle, MEngSc, PACFA Reg., Stephanie Goldsmith, Ph.D., and Kristen Myers, Psy.D., DrPH. for a free 90-minute information session detailing our unique residential training experience. This program will include a brief history about the Residential, a description of the training program components, a live therapy demonstration and discussion with one of our experienced faculty, and a question and answer session.
