This month's Bizarre News covers four stories that somehow span the full spectrum of weird — starting with a ghost hunting vlogger in Malaysia who went live, disappeared mid-stream for 40 hours, and was eventually found in a public restroom in a weakened state with zero explanation for where he'd been.

We also got into a new UN-backed protocol that now requires international approval before anyone can respond to potential alien signals, which sounds very responsible and also like the most frustrating thing imaginable when the aliens are literally trying to text us back.

And then Brazil had a whole situation where the national emergency alert system got hacked and sent millions of people messages saying "humans, we have arrived, we are not your friends" — right on the heels of a viral UFO video from the country that allegedly led to men in black SUVs circling the guy's house — while we also covered the brand new North American Cryptid Museum that just opened in Plano, Texas, with 75 full-size lifelike cryptid recreations, park ranger guides, and a scent box that lets you smell the skunk ape.

The Imjärvi Incident | Paranormal Podcast

This week, we headed to January 1970 in the frozen forests of southern Finland to cover the Imjärvi UFO incident, where two experienced, credible cross-country skiers named Aarno and Esko stopped for a rest in a clearing and watched a metallic disc descend from a glowing cloud just meters above the ground, accompanied by a buzzing that wouldn't quit and a beam of intense white light that scorched a perfect circle into the snow.

Standing inside that beam was a three-foot-tall pale being in a green coverall with a hooked nose, claw-like fingers, and a black box aimed directly at Arno that pulsed harder and harder until colored sparks shot out of the snow and drifted slowly across both men.

What followed the encounter is where things really went sideways. Aarno couldn't hold his weight, urinated black, became incoherent, had what a doctor described as textbook radiation exposure symptoms that lasted for months, and that was before the strange woman in yellow claimed to be from a peaceful green world across the galaxy and started showing up uninvited wherever he went.

Terrified Together with the Dark Paranormal

We teamed up with KKevin Eustace from the Dark Paranormal podcast for this Terrified Together, and the two listener submissions he brought did not disappoint, starting with Hector from Modesto, California, a lifelong skeptic who grew up without horror movies and still can't fully explain the series of connected paranormal moments that have followed him since he was 4 years old, beginning with something sprinting at him full speed down the hallway that simply wasn't there when he turned around.

Then we got into Rachel's story, which is a lifetime's worth of encounters stacked on top of each other — a shadow figure that identified itself as Beelzebub, a little girl apparition her daughter also saw, a man she physically collided with who vanished completely, and a ghost cat that apparently just lives there now like it pays rent.

The Hands From Under the Bed | Paranormal Podcast

This week, we've got two listener submissions. First from Rebecca in Texas, who as a terrified little girl forced to watch Salem's Lot by her dad couldn't shake the vampires long enough to sleep, prayed desperately in the dark, and then had an experience in that darkness that she still remembers in perfect detail decades later.

Then we got into Chloe's story, which genuinely had us putting the phone down — she traveled to Slovakia to help refurbish an old building that turned out to have been a Nazi stronghold during WWII, was given a candle and a warning by a local woman who claimed she could see what was still lingering there, and then fell asleep in an isolated outbuilding with music in her ears and felt two cold hands grab both her ankles and drag her down the bed.

The marks were still on her ankles when she turned the light on, the room was completely empty, the door was locked, and the candle had gone out halfway — and that wasn't even the last time it happened.

The PURSUE UFO files are the massive declassified release from the Department of War covering over 200 previously classified UFO and UAP cases spanning 82 years, from the 1940s all the way to 2025, pulled from NASA, the FBI, the Pentagon, and beyond.

We went through astronaut audio from Gemini 7 where Frank Borman radioed Houston about hundreds of particles flying past the spacecraft, Buzz Aldrin's reports of flashing lights inside the Apollo 11 cabin, a triangular formation of lights photographed on the lunar surface during Apollo 17, military infrared footage from Syria showing an object that makes instant 90-degree turns with no propulsion or heat signature, orbs chasing fighter jets, objects seamlessly entering and exiting the ocean near a US submarine, FBI witness reports from contractors who watched a 130-foot metallic object materialize out of a bright light and vanish, and a 1963 White House memo with the subject line "Thoughts on the Space Alien Race Question" that advises the government to negotiate fast if contact is ever made.
