Encouragement in the Gospel of Grace with Connie Miller
Today we get to know our sister in Christ, Connie Miller. Connie has so much to share with us and we begin by getting to know Connie’s background and how she came to be a writer, speaker and teacher in the body of Christ. As we discuss the grace and goodness of God found in the gospel, we are encouraged, at rest, joyful, and at peace when we understand the undeniable and perfect love God has for His sons and daughters. Our conversation today is a lead-in to two more episodes of Corinne and Connie discussing things you probably have never heard before, but need to consider. Thanks so much for joining in today. Connie and I hope youare uplifted and refreshed as we reflect on the grace of God found in His Son, the Christ.

The Most Important Message in the Bible
Why do we have a Bible? What was God’s intention when He had men write it down for the world to know? A lot of work, discussions, debates, books, movies, study, research and history has occurred to convey a message to mankind, but why? Why all the work and toil? Do we need to become a scholar in theology? Must we understand Greek and Hebrew, original words, meanings and usage? Is it even possible? The Bible says even a child can understand, how could they understand all of that? Impossible! On today’s Grace at LAST podcast we simplify things, so we are not overwhelmed with trying to understand all the “deep things” of the Bible. Today we narrow it down to one thing, the Most Important Message in the Bible. I am so glad you joined in today. Ephesians 1:7Hebrews 13:51 Corinthians 15:1-5Galatians 2:20Romans 8:28-39

How Do I Understand Scripture?
It is critical to understand context if we are going to understand what God is saying in the scriptures. If we do not understand context, we are going to be led astray. No way around it, it will happen. We will become confused about the scriptures because we don’t understand how to apply them to our lives and we will become frustrated. But how do we know? How do we know if the scriptures are for us to do or just for us to know? Where do we start? These are important questions and we are going to talk about them today in our weekly Grace at LAST Podcast. I am so glad you joined in today.

Am I Mentally in the Old When Christ has Made all Things New?
Recording from Costa Rica we talk about the new. The new you and the new life Christ provided for you and me through the cross and resurrection. I believe too many people are living with an old covenant mindset and they could be living in the new. Even people who understand new covenant truths can live with an old covenant mindset. The new is better. We can renew our minds to understand the truth about the new us, the new heaven, the new man, our new life, and the new earth. There is real freedom in the truths of today’s message and I hope and pray you are living in the newness of life that Jesus made available to all who believe.Daniel 2:36-45Hebrews Workbook Hebrews YouTube Ephesians Workbook Ephesians YouTube

Is the Book of Hebrews for Us Today?
The Book of Hebrews is by far one of the greatest books ever written. This book tells us about the new covenant brought in with the blood of Jesus when He forgave sin, forever. Understanding this book and how God brought an end to the old system to replace it with something new, is so important to understand. Many truths that are life changing are found in the words of this book. However, just because it is for us to know and understand, it does not mean it is all for us to do. Understanding the difference brings a level of freedom following rules and commandments never could. 1 Corinthians 15:1-5Hebrews 1:1-2Hebrews WorkbookHebrews YoutubeEphesians WorkbookEphesians YouTube
