Fear-driven obedience may produce immediate results, but it distorts our view of God, disconnects us from our true identity, and misrepresents the abundant life we’re called to live. 150-In this episode, we start with Part 1 of our 4-Part series and break down fear-based teaching, focusing on two major drivers, hell and judgment. So many of us were taught to follow God and the fear of consequences, not from a place of security. Fear may produce quick obedience, but it never produces lasting freedom.
 When hell is used as a threat, it creates anxiety, not relationship. It keeps people focused on avoiding punishment instead of experiencing connection with God. It turns faith into survival mode, where you are constantly questioning if you are okay.
Then there is judgment. Many believe their future is still on trial. But the truth we are exploring is this, Jesus was fully judged. And if you are in Him, you are not waiting for judgment, you are standing in the result of His finished work. That changes everything. You move from striving to resting, from fear to trust, from performance to relationship.
You were not designed to live afraid.
You were designed to live loved.

149-If our relationship with God depended on our consistency,none of us would stand for long. Scripture shows that even with sincere intentions, mankind cannot keep perfect promises. That is why God established a system of forgiveness not based on human ability, but as a gift.
 Under the old covenant, sin was covered through sacrifice.Under the new covenant, it was removed completely through Jesus. One sacrifice. Once and for all. This changes the starting point of our faith. We are not striving to be forgiven; we are living from forgiveness.
This episode challenges the idea that we must continually ask for what has already been fully given. If forgiveness required death, and JesUs already took that death, what is left to be done? Instead of living in cycles of fear and confession, we are invited to live in confidence and gratitude.
 When we understand the finished work of Christ, our focus changes from sin to Him. We still grow and acknowledge where we fall short, but our relationship with God is no longer rooted in fear. It is rooted in grace, freedom, and the unshakable truth that we are already fully forgiven.
