What happens to your creativity when life gets full?

In this deeply honest and expansive conversation, Sarah is joined by writer, artist, and creativity coach Catherine LaSota to explore what it actually means to live a creative life… especially when time, energy, and capacity are limited.

Together, they dive into creativity as a practice of trust, presence, and self-definition, and unpack the tension between who we think we “should” be as artists and who we actually are in our real lives.

On this episode of Moon Beaming, you’ll hear:

Why creativity is not just output

How to stay connected to your creative identity during intense life seasons

The role of time, capacity, and emotional energy in creative practice

Why “not creating” is sometimes part of the creative cycle

How caregiving, parenting, and real life can expand your creativity

The connection between creativity, trust, and surrender

Why defining yourself as an artist is an internal practice

This episode is an invitation to redefine what it means to be creative, to honor the season you’re in, and to trust that your creativity is still alive… even when it looks different than you expected.

What if you didn’t have to have it all figured out to begin again?

On this episode of Moonbeaming, Sarah sits down with poet, astrologer, and author Heidi Rose Robbins to explore what it means to move through change with more presence, creativity, and trust.

Together, they reflect on what the Moon Studio is calling the “year of the pivot”—a time of reinvention, letting go, and becoming someone new, often without having a clear plan. They talk about how to navigate these moments without forcing clarity or perfection, and why the smallest steps can be the most powerful place to begin.

Heidi shares how poetry, astrology, and daily practices like writing can become a tool to help us move through uncertainty with more compassion. The two also explore the role of repetition in creativity, the importance of showing up consistently (even imperfectly), and how structure can support us as we evolve.

    In this episode, you’ll hear:

Why 2026 is a “year of the pivot” and what that actually means

How to take the first step when you don’t feel ready

Using poetry and writing as a tool for emotional alchemy

Letting go of urgency and reconnecting to presence

Why repetition—not perfection—is the key to creative work

The power of daily practices (like Heidi’s “Moon Notes”)

How astrology can be a tool for self-compassion and connection

Learning to trust timing, cycles, and your own inner knowing

This episode is an invitation to slow down, listen more deeply, and trust that something new may already be opening.

How To Advocate For Your Health with Licensed Clinical Scientist Tyla Bee

    08/04/2026 | 55 mins.
What if your bloodwork say you’re “fine”… but your intuition is telling you something is “off”?

In this episode, Sarah is joined by licensed clinical scientist and author of Brains Like Ours: A Smart Girls Guide to Mood, Modern Life, and the Science Behind Mental Health Tyla Bee, who is on a mission to help people better understand their labs, their symptoms, and the powerful connection between intuition and data.

After experiencing rough mental health symptoms and discovering a critical vitamin deficiency that changed everything, Tyla transformed her personal journey into a framework for helping others take their health into their own hands.

In this conversation, Tyla breaks down why standard lab ranges can miss important imbalances, how chronic stress and nervous system overload show up in your bloodwork, and which key markers are often overlooked in conventional care.

    You’ll learn:

Why “normal” lab results don’t always mean optimal health

The key labs most people aren’t getting (but should be)

How inflammation, hormones, and stress impact your mental health

The connection between intuition and biological data

Practical ways to advocate for yourself in a broken healthcare system

    Meet Tyla:

Tyla Bee is a licensed Clinical Scientist, Sunnyside Coach, lifetime card-carrying member of the anxiety club, and the author of Brains Like Ours: A Smart Girl's Guide to Mood, Modern Life, and the Science Behind Mental Health (Redwood Publishing, 2026). With years of experience in hospital laboratories and integrative medicine, Tyla bridges the gap between clinical science and holistic wellness, helping women understand the lab data behind their mood, energy, and hormonal health. She is the creator of the Load Capacity Framework and writes at substack.com/@tylabee.
