#93 Radical Redesign; La Luna Coven returns to Boomtown 2026

    25/08/2026 | 1h
Sorry for being radio silent for the last couple of weeks! 🙈 I was ridiculously busy, having far too much fun, and frankly needed a little break from the everyday.
And… apologies in advance that this week’s episode is a little sweary. 😂 But it’s bloody brilliant to be back!
This week I’m sharing some of the power and magic we wove at Boomtown this year — working with land magic, creativity and altered states of reality, and exploring how we can change young people’s relationship with the world, both inner and outer.
It was wild, beautiful, powerful and a little bit fucking magical.
Back in the Chaos we go… 🌀✨

#92 Time to Topple the Toffs

    07/08/2026 | 47 mins.
TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️  15min in talks about child abuse
This week, a surprise visit from an old friend left me asking a much bigger question.
What is it about people who think money, status and name-dropping make them more important than everyone else? Watching one person's behaviour manage to irritate not just me but seemingly half of Sark became the perfect reminder that it's time to stop bowing to wealth and privilege simply because society tells us we should.
    This isn't about resentment. It's about self-respect.
In this episode, I explore why it's time to lovingly—but firmly—topple the toffs. To stop confusing riches with wisdom, status with character, and influence with integrity. Real power comes from kindness, authenticity and treating every human being as an equal.
If you've ever felt intimidated by someone who believed they were above everyone else, this conversation is your reminder: no one is.
It's time to stand tall, speak truth with love, and remember that genuine greatness never needs to announce itself.

#91 An Audience With the Valley

    31/07/2026 | 35 mins.
This week's podcast began in a hammock, in our garden overlooking Port du Moulin on Sark, as the sun dipped into golden hour.
Our garden sits on an energy line… a place that amplifies your connection with the Earth. So I decided to get quiet. To listen.
I pulled a few tarot cards and asked a simple question. ‘What do you want to say to me?’
The answer that came through wasn't what I expected.
In this week's episode, I'm sharing the message that unfolded, what the cards revealed, and why I believe the Earth is always speaking to us... if we're willing to be still enough to hear.

#90 The Stories That Shape the Future

    24/07/2026 | 53 mins.
The battle for the future won't just be fought through technology, politics or economics. It will be fought through story.
As artificial intelligence, data centres and digital infrastructure become the backbone of modern civilisation, new narratives are already emerging. Those who defend rivers, forests and the living Earth risk being recast as obstacles to progress... even as extremists. Recent political moves in the United States hint at how quickly environmental resistance could be reframed through the language of security and terrorism.
In this week's episode of Nonsense in the Chaos, I explore why storytelling has become one of the most powerful acts of our time. If old myths are being rewritten to justify extraction, surveillance and endless growth, then we need to become better storytellers ourselves... weaving narratives rooted in relationship, beauty, belonging and a living planet.
Because the stories we tell today will determine the world we inhabit tomorrow.
    Books I mention in this episode;
Sand Talk; How Indigenous Thinking Can Save the World by Tyson Yunkaporta
Active Hope; How to Face the Mess We're in with Unexpected Reslience & Creative Power by Joanna Macy & Chris Johnstone

#89 The Power of Pilgrimage; Guy Hayward and the Magic of Walking with Intention

    17/07/2026 | 1h 9 mins.
What happens when we choose to walk not simply to get somewhere, but to be changed by the journey itself?
This week I'm joined by Guy Hayward, co-founder and Director of the British Pilgrimage Trust and co-author of Britain's Pilgrim Places. Since 2014, Guy has been quietly helping revive pilgrimage across Britain through the simple but profound invitation to 'bring your own beliefs', reminding us that pilgrimage belongs to everyone, regardless of faith or philosophy.
Together we wander through the archetype of the pilgrim, exploring why walking with intention transforms not only the landscape around us, but our relationship with ourselves, with strangers, and with the more-than-human world. We talk about the curious openness that emerges on the road, the unexpected conversations that seem to find you, and why moving at walking pace allows the world to reveal itself in ways we'd otherwise miss.
Whether you've walked hundreds of miles or never considered yourself a pilgrim, this conversation is an invitation to slow down, pay attention, and rediscover the quiet magic that's been waiting beside the path all along.

About Nonsense in the Chaos
This weekly offering is an exploration into the unknown, as I interview one of the many extraordinary people I've had the joy of meeting on this weird and wonderful journey we call life.Instead of having pre-planned questions, I pull three tarot cards, which we’ll discuss and share our insights on. This concept aims to support me and the listeners to learn to be at ease with the unknown, demonstrating how there’s something to gain from trusting the chaos of the universe.
