Initiated into the path by the revered Ashok Kulkarni Baba Ji, one of the most renowned and authoritative scholars of Shri Vidya, a sacred and profound knowledge he received purely by the grace of Shri Anandamayi Ma herself, having served at her feet for many, many years, Swami Ji inherited this precious and rare lineage, carrying it forward with the same love, purity and devotion.
What makes Swami Ji's journey truly remarkable is his path before sanyas. A Gold Medalist and PhD scholar, he lived as a Brahmachari serving underprivileged and needy children while completing his doctorate. And the very next day after receiving his PhD, he took Sanyas, renouncing the world completely and dedicating every breath to the seva of Shri Ma.
Today, Swami Gurusharan Ji travels across the world sharing the life, teachings, and divine grace of Shri Anandamayi Ma with thousands of seekers. He leads Satsangs, Matri Vani Paath, Swakriya Yoga & Meditation camps, and guides souls on the path of higher consciousness.
He also runs a free Gurukul at Ma Sharanam Ashram, a holistic residential school on the sacred banks of the River Narmada, nurturing children with values, spirituality, and education, at no cost, ensuring no child is left behind due to financial constraints.
