Uk: Осінь щедро розмалювала український степ у жовтогарячі та бурштинові барви.
En: Autumn generously painted the Ukrainian steppe in shades of golden orange and amber.

Uk: Вітер ніжно колихав високі трави, що простягалися за горизонт.
En: The wind gently swayed the tall grasses that stretched to the horizon.

Uk: Саме тут, серед квітів і трав, працювала команда ботаніків: Оксана, Микола та Василь.
En: Right here, among the flowers and grasses, worked a team of botanists: Oksana, Mykola, and Vasyl.

Uk: Оксана — молодий і талановитий учений.
En: Oksana was a young and talented scientist.

Uk: Вона хотіла довести, що може бути лідером, попри все.
En: She wanted to prove that she could be a leader, despite everything.

Uk: Її мета — картографувати рідкісні види рослин до зими.
En: Her goal was to map rare plant species before winter.

Uk: Це був важливий проект, і більш відповідальну людину годі було знайти.
En: It was an important project, and a more responsible person would be hard to find.

En: Suddenly, the sky was covered with clouds, and a strong wind arose from out of nowhere.

Uk: Оксана знала: час — проти них.
En: Oksana knew: time was against them.

Uk: "Ми розділимось," вирішила Оксана.
En: "We'll split up," Oksana decided.

Uk: "Так буде швидше.
En: "It will be faster this way."

Uk: " Василь мав ідею, як швидко зібрати дані.
En: Vasyl had an idea on how to quickly gather data.

Uk: Оксана погодилась.
En: Oksana agreed.

Uk: Та раптом налетіла буря.
En: But suddenly a storm hit.

Uk: Микола наполягав на відступі, але Оксана взяла ініціативу.
En: Mykola insisted on retreating, but Oksana took the initiative.

Uk: Вони мали йти далі, хоч і між гуркотом грому.
En: They had to keep going, even amidst the rumbling thunder.
