Sharing the Hard Stuff: Finding Space to Be Real

    19/1/2026 | 17 mins.
In this episode I’m talking about something that’s deeply personal yet universally human: the courage to share your truth. Sometimes the weight we carry, like shame, fear, embarrassment, or unspoken experiences, can hold us back from living fully. Sharing your truth doesn’t have to be dramatic or performative, it is about creating space to release, reflect, and heal.
    We’re talking about:
Why holding onto your truth can feel like survival but may also block your growth
The importance of having a supportive inner circle and trustworthy allies
Ways to safely share your truth including journaling, therapy, creative expression, or just showing up authentically
How black women, historically and culturally, have had to mask their truths and why reclaiming space to be fully human is an act of self-care
Navigating the highs and lows, the valleys and peaks, of life while honoring your own journey
This episode is an invitation to let go of the pressure to be perfect, to stop bottling things up for survival, and to explore ways to express yourself safely and honestly.

    Reflection Prompts

What truth have you been holding onto that needs space to be expressed
Who in your life can you trust to honor your truth without judgment
What small, safe step can you take this week to release or express what’s been bottled up

Small Beginnings, Big Intentions: Claiming Space (a Tiny Shed) as Self-Care

    12/1/2026 | 32 mins.
In this first episode of the year, I’m sharing something that may not matter to anyone else on the planet and how it reminded me that self-care isn’t always loud, aesthetic, or dramatic.
Sometimes self-care looks like claiming space.
Sometimes it looks like taking one small step toward a vision you don’t need to explain to anyone else.
    We’re talking about:
Why small beginnings matter (especially in January)
Creating physical, emotional, and energetic space as a form of self-care
Letting intentions unfold without rushing or pressure
How honoring what feels meaningful to you is an act of self-love
This episode is an invitation to start the year gently, intentionally, and on your own terms.
    Reflection Prompts
What’s one small step you can take this year that feels big for you?
What kind of space do you want to claim or protect in 2026?
Where can you move with intention instead of urgency?

December Is The Best Month To Release The "Fake" and Find Your Real Self

    08/12/2025 | 42 mins.
The work discussed in this episode, as we enter the final days of 2025, is not just about ending the year on a high. What I feel it is, is an opportunity to see 2026 as the year your authentic self is non-negotiable. In this episode we are talking about self-care through the lens of transition, a fresh start, into the new year.
    In this episode let's explore:
Winter as the Shedding Season: Using the end of 2025 as a time to identify and release the societal expectations and masks that stifle our authentic selves.
Decolonizing Your Worth: Challenging narratives of strength and productivity to embrace softness, vulnerability, and rest.
Returning to Your Roots: The importance of reconnecting with hobbies, creativity, and ancestral wisdom that spark your mind, heart, and spirit.
