Sarangees! We're back with Episode 2 of The Glory, and it's proof that revenge doesn't need to be loud to be devastating.

While Dong-eun is quietly stalking, collecting secrets, and piecing together shredded documents, the bullies are out here living their best unbothered lives. Yeon-jin has the dream setup: rich husband, baby, the perfect job, and she's still terrorizing everyone around her. Jae-joon has a clothing store and a golf course, with Myeong-oh running around as his personal errand boy. Sa-ra is an artist by day and feeds a drug habit by night. And Hye-jeong? She's a flight attendant who's pining over Jae-joon while still letting friends bully her.

We learn more about Yeo-jeong, our male lead, who teaches Dong-eun the game of Go. She learns how to destroy an opponent's territory — slowly, silently, without mercy — which becomes her blueprint for revenge.

And just when you think the episode can't top itself, a random stranger catches Dong-eun gathering evidence and asks her to kill her husband.

We deep-dive into some fun facts about the drama and close out with our brand-new segment,  “Revenge Receipts”, where we keep tally of every new piece of evidence Dong-eun has collected or used against her bullies. The war room is open. Let's go!

Welcome to YOUR Korean podcast drama! 

Dearest Sarangees, it's time for our fifth Drama Chase — The Glory — and we've officially entered our dark drama era. This is a gritty, somber drama packed with complex characters and rich storylines full of revenge and darkness.

In the first episode, we meet our morose protagonist, Moon Dong-eun, who is setting up a war room in a small apartment in Semyeong. We discover that when she was in high school, she was brutally burned by a gang of bullies led by Park Yeon-jin — and the adults in her life completely failed to protect her. She decides to fight back with a meticulously planned, decade-long revenge scheme aimed at ruining the lives of the bullies, her teacher, and her mother.

For our segment, we deep dive into the real-life incident that inspired the show and the very real issue of school bullying in Korea.

Buckle up, y’all! It’s about to get wild!

Sarangees! Chrissy is flying solo this week while Dulcé is out on the road — but the drama doesn't stop for anyone! We're reacting to episodes 5 AND 6 of Perfect Crown, and these two episodes did NOT hold back.

Prince I-an breaks off his arrangement with Hui-joo after discovering someone tampered with her car — and with the trauma of losing his mother in an accident, he's not taking any chances. Noble idiot behavior? Yes. Meanwhile, Prime Minister-nim shoots his shot and asks Hui-joo to marry him instead... and gets his heart absolutely shattered for it.

Then it's off to the Inner Court Banquet, where Hui-joo shows up in a white power suit, I-an makes a very public proposal that shocks literally everyone including the Queen, and our couple somehow ends up kissing on a yacht.
