    🍁 Rebecca Beyer is the woman behind Blood and Spicebush School of Old Craft. She holds a B.S. in plant and soil science from the University of Vermont and an M.A in Appalachian Studies and Sustainability from Appalachian State University. She lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina, where she resides in a small community and teaches foraging, along with Appalachian folk medicine and crafts. She specializes in historical Appalachian ethnobotany and Appalachian folk medicine. She is the author of Wild Witchcraft, Mountain Magic, and most recently, The Complete Folk Herbal.

    🌻 Lucretia VanDyke began her herbalism journey as a little girl mixing herbs, clays, and muds on her grandparents' farm. Today, Lucretia VanDyke has been in the herbal industry for over 20 years. As a holistic educator, speaker, herbalist, ceremonialist, spiritual light coach, intuitive energetic & reiki practitioner, diviner, storyteller, artist, and world traveler, Lucretia has accumulated over 3000 hours of training. She has studied with indigenous healers and some of the greatest minds of our time. Lucretia has been a holistic esthetician & healing arts practitioner for over a decade focusing on integrating indigenous healing rituals, plant spirit medicine, and meditation into modern-day practice. Lucretia brings her vivacious spirit and message of self-love in her work to inspire others to embrace their unique beauty and purpose. She is currently collecting stories throughout the south while working on expanding her BIPOC community healing arts and herbal education program.

    🪻 Betzy Bancroft, RH(AHG) has had a deep appreciation for the magic of plants since childhood. She's been teaching herbal medicine for over 3 decades, currently at Sage Mountain and the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism, a non-profit herb school and clinic she helped found, as well as herbal and agricultural conferences. Betzy is a professional member of the American Herbalists Guild practices as a clinical herbalist and a supervisor for VCIH's student clinic. Betzy is also a United Plant Savers Advisory Board member, and previously served as that organization's office manager for a decade.
