It Gets Good

Well… we're back with another cursed book club read: Verity by Colleen Hoover. We would like to formally apologize to everyone who read this book and didn't like it, we're sorry we made you read this. For those of you who enjoyed it, listen with caution because we did not have great things to say about both the book and movie!
We're crossing our fingers that next month's book club, Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen, will treat us a little better.

This week we chat about all of the books we read in September! We also have some book news and chat about our thoughts on re-reading all of the SJM books so far. Spoiler alert, Micaela read more books than Kyleigh this month!

We have a random little episode for you today! We're chatting about some book news, answering a few questions from listeners, and, as per usual, going off on plenty of random tangents along the way. Basically, it's a little bit of everything.
And because no episode would be complete without some kind of chaos, you also get to experience Micaela discovering a spider by her live on the pod.

Make sure to grab a copy of our September Book Club, Verity by Colleen Hoover. We'll be discussing the book AND movie in a couple weeks!

Fall reading season is officially here, and this year, we're making it competitive. We're drafting our ultimate fall TBRs, one book at a time—but once a book is picked, it's off the board. Who will snag the books everyone wants, and who will be left with the leftovers? Grab your favorite cozy drink and join us for bookish chaos, questionable strategy, and the ultimate fall reading showdown. May the best TBR win.

Today, we're hopping on the "You Couldn't Pay Us To…" trend! Are we a little late? Yes. Did that stop us? Absolutely not. In a shocking turn of events, we spend most of this episode talking about literally anything except the actual topic. We cover book news, the new Dancing with the Stars cast, and, of course, we had to spend some time talking about Lando Norris.
