Melanie Ryan and Andy Steigmeier. Mother & father share their experience about child loss. This is the remarkable story of Justin Bodhi.

    08/12/2025 | 1h 55 mins.
This is a vulnerable, emotional, and deeply honest conversation. Melanie and Andy share their most personal story about the loss of their child, Justin, and how spirituality is the only way helping them through this experience. And now, Andy and Melanie are here to continue their mission, and that is to help others heal, and continue Justin's purpose. Justin was an extraordinary kid, and today, almost 2 years after his physical departure, he continues to communicate, teach, and heal. This conversation is truly a gift.

Emma Vivian rewriting her cancer story. "Grief is the ultimate form of love". Losing a friend to cancer. Survivor's guilt. A new identity. Honoring Emily.

    02/06/2025 | 1h 24 mins.
Emma Vivian opens up about her breast cancer journey in one of the most vulnerable conversations I’ve had.
She speaks honestly about the physical and emotional toll on losing her hair, her breasts, and her menstrual cycle, and the quiet grief that came with those changes. We talk about friendships changing and how her view of the world has been transformed.
A profound part of Emma’s story is the loss of her childhood best friend, Emily, to the same disease. In the wake of that pain, Emma has confronted survivor’s guilt, ultimately finding a path toward self-love and forgiveness.
Her message is clear: laugh when you can, hold on to hope, and whenever possible, be with family drinking “White Wine In The Sun”.
I’m deeply grateful for this conversation.

Deborah and Sean's Soul Agreement. A mother and son's story about death and rebirth. "Alchemy of Grief"; Plant Medicine; Connection & Love

    03/04/2025 | 1h 5 mins.
I felt like I was talking with a long time friend during this episode.
Debbie Kadagian opened her heart, spoke her truth, and shared her unique story about the passing of her son, Sean. Throughout this episode Debbie talks about her work as an integrative psychotherapist. She talks about ways we can tune into our own unique blueprint while on the grief healing path. Debbie openly shares her experiences with plant medicine and how she continues to find joy and love in her life by connecting with Sean.
We go into detail about her book, “The Alchemy of Grief: Conversations in Paint” and she opens up about her experience of painting her way through grief.
At the end of the episode, I share Sean’s poem, Ebb and Flow written just 10 months before he departed this physical world.
This is another episode that has left an imprint on my life. Thank you, Debbie.
