    341. The 4 Things I Stopped Doing To Improve My Face In My 40’s

    10/05/2026 | 11 mins.
This week’s short solo episode of the podcast is all about the simple habits I stopped doing in my 40s which have genuinely made a big difference to my face, skin and overall wellbeing naturally.

At 44, and after over 20 years of teaching Face Yoga, I truly believe that often it’s the small daily habits we change consistently which create the biggest long-term results for our skin, facial muscles and posture.

In this episode, I share the four things I stopped doing to improve my face naturally:

    • Clenching my jaw
    • Rushing my skincare
    • Overusing facial expressions
    • Poor posture

I explain exactly how these habits can contribute to jaw tension, expression lines, neck tightness, skin ageing and facial asymmetry, plus the simple, realistic ways I changed them in my daily life.

This episode is packed with easy holistic beauty and Face Yoga tips which you can start using immediately without spending lots of time or money. If you love natural skincare, facial massage, wellness habits and gentle anti-ageing techniques, this episode is for you.

I also share why slowing down your skincare routine, improving posture and relaxing facial tension can help support healthier looking skin, softer expression lines and a more lifted, radiant appearance naturally.

Whether you’re working, running a business, looking after your family or simply wanting to feel more balanced, these everyday crystals can be beautiful tools to support your mind, body and wellbeing.

I talk through the 7 crystals I personally use in my workspace — rose quartz, clear quartz, selenite, turquoise, sunstone, citrine and carnelian — and how each one supports different areas of emotional wellbeing, mental clarity, positive energy and productivity.

For me, these crystals act as small, consistent anchors throughout the day. They help me stay grounded, calm and focused, while also bringing in more positive energy, confidence and clarity into my work and daily life.

    339. The 4 Fashion Rules I Follow In Spring For Style & Wellness

    26/04/2026 | 6 mins.
In this solo episode, I’m sharing the four simple fashion rules I follow every spring to help me feel good in my mind and body, while still feeling effortlessly stylish.

As a busy mum and business owner, I need my wardrobe to feel comfortable, practical and easy, but also elevated, feminine and confidence-boosting. Over the years, I’ve found that having a few simple seasonal style rules makes getting dressed each day feel effortless and even supports my overall wellbeing.

In this episode, I talk you through:

Why I love wearing yellow in spring to boost mood, energy and positivity

The beauty of a lightweight jacket for layering, comfort and versatility

How pastel tones can soften your look and bring a fresh, radiant feel

Why I swap heavier shoes and boots for sandals and trainers for ease and balance

These small shifts not only simplify your wardrobe but also help you feel more aligned, energised and confident in your everyday life.

    Why This Matters:
What we wear doesn’t just affect how we look, it influences how we feel. Choosing colours, textures and styles that support your comfort, movement and mood can have a powerful effect on your confidence, energy and overall wellness.

    338. You Need To Do These 4 Things Before Bed For Glowing Skin Tomorrow

    19/04/2026 | 19 mins.
Want glowing skin naturally? Your evening routine is just as important as your morning skincare — if not more.

In this solo episode, I’m sharing four essential things to do before bed to support deep sleep, skin repair and a radiant complexion.

During the night, your skin goes into repair mode. By supporting your body and mind before sleep, you can enhance collagen production, circulation, lymphatic drainage and overall skin health, all while improving your sleep quality.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

How to calm your nervous system for better sleep and healthier skin

Simple tips to release facial tension and soften lines

How to boost circulation and lymphatic flow to reduce puffiness and dullness

Why creating a calming night routine and skincare ritual transforms your skin

These natural, holistic techniques are quick, effective and easy to fit into your evening — helping you wake up looking fresher, brighter and more lifted.

    Why This Matters:
Poor sleep, stress and tension can all contribute to premature ageing, dull skin, puffiness and breakouts. By optimising your bedtime routine, you’re supporting both your skin health and overall wellbeing.

    337. Can Women Really Have It All? Honest Chats on Work, Wellbeing & Motherhood with Dr Giselle Goodwin

    12/04/2026 | 37 mins.
This week’s episode of The Face Yoga Expert Podcast, I’m joined by speaker, researcher and author Dr Giselle Goodwin for a deeply honest and thought-provoking conversation around women, work and wellbeing.

Giselle brings both lived experience and academic insight to this topic. With a PhD in women, work and wellbeing, alongside 25 years of building and selling businesses, she shares a refreshing, real perspective on what it truly means to “have it all.”

Together, we have open and honest chats from our own personal experiences, as well as insights from Giselle’s research.

    In this episode, we discuss:

Giselle’s journey through burnout and autoimmune challenges

Building and selling multiple businesses while raising a family

Why she chose to spend five years completing her PhD in her forties

Whether women can really “have it all”

Her latest research on women’s “third job”

The realities of societal pressure and expectations on women

People pleasing and how it impacts our wellbeing

How to create a sense of inner peace and balance

Daily rituals and routines for calming the nervous system

    Happiness, fulfilment and redefining success

How we can support and guide the next generation of women

This is a powerful, grounding conversation that will leave you reflecting on your own definition of success, balance and wellbeing.

    About Dr Giselle Goodwin

Dr Giselle Goodwin is the author of Can Women Really Have It All?, a researcher, entrepreneur and mother of two.

Originally from Canada and now based in Cheshire, Giselle blends academic insight with the lived reality of board meetings, school runs and the everyday juggle of modern motherhood.

After co-founding and successfully exiting three companies in healthcare and recruitment, she returned to university in her forties to explore a question many women quietly carry: what does a humane and realistic version of work-life balance actually look like?

She completed her PhD in 2022, focusing on women, work and wellbeing. Today, she supports working mothers to challenge unrealistic societal expectations and create lives that feel sustainable, fulfilling and aligned — without constant self-sacrifice.
