In Episode 91 of The Steak Lad Experience, I sat down with my none other than… me. For those that dont know, my real name is Darcy Tobin and this is my podcast. It has been well over a year since I started this endeavour as a side hustle and since then my life has changed entirely for the better. As my journey has progressed, I have delved further into the minds of the guests who have been on my show and as a consequence have been forced to explore parts of my mind I never have before. In Episode 89 of The Steak Lad Experience, I sat down with Melbourne based property developer and entrepreneur, Oscar Ledlin. Having originally asked Oscar to come on the show in early 2024 this conversation was obviously a long time coming, but having had the chance to re listen to our discussion can say with conviction that it was well and truly worth the wait!!! in this episode we touched on his competitive nature growing up with four other siblings, how rapidly his respective businesses are progressing, the importance of moving between ambition and gratitude, highlights from his early days, why discipline is more important than motivation, what drives to want more despite already achieving a “relative level of commercial success”, the things he is most proud of from his journey to date and much much more. After our chat I actually drove Oscar back to his office and on a phone call he described the podcast to someone as something extremely different to anything he had done before and it genuinely reminded me why I do what I do.
