  • Power to the People with Declan Power
We, like many of you, have been deeply affected by the atrocities playing out everyday in the Middle East. It can feel overwhelming—too complex, too distant, too painful to fully grasp. In this week’s episode Niall is joined by Declan Power, an independent security and defence analyst, former career soldier, UN peacekeeper and author of ‘Siege of Jadotville’. Having spent a large portion of his career in the Middle East and as a renowned expert in international security, negotiations, crisis planning and intelligence, Declan brings a deep and informed perspective on the history of the region. He shares the realities of life on the ground, the positive impact of Irish peacekeeping forces, and the dangers of apathy in a world flooded with information. Niall and Declan discuss the importance of seeing past the politics to have compassion for the people who are suffering—and recognizing our responsibility to keep telling their stories. • (Hu)Man Up with Logan Cohen
If you’ve been here a while you’ll know masculinity is something we find both fascinating and necessary to talk about, and more so as the worst kind of men are finding power in society. In this week’s episode, Niall is joined by Logan Cohen, a therapist, clinical supervisor and author of ‘How to (Hu)Man Up in Modern Society’. Logan believes men have lost their way in modern society, particularly as we are still stuck in the traditional roles that have not evolved to suit our current world. Through his own difficult experiences with trauma and addiction he wants to help the modern man embrace their social being and reconnect with what really matters. Niall and Logan discuss how ‘toxic’ masculinity is leaking into our culture, along with how we can raise healthy boys through non-judgement, curiosity and leading by example. • Existential Insight with Emma Kehoe
There are so many things happening in the world right now that are making us question who we are, what we’re doing and, to be honest, our sanity. In this week’s episode Niall is joined by Emma Kehoe, who through her own self-development journey has turned into a coach and teacher for others. Emma hit rock bottom in her early thirties, when everything she knew came crashing down around her and the realities of her early years conditioning came to the forefront. Emma shares her story of how she moved through heartbreak, vulnerability and an existential crisis, and ended up finding her love for mindfulness and a balanced approach to life. Niall and Emma get into what mindfulness really means to them, along with the issues of how it and many other things have become complicated by the wellness industry. For more mindfulness content check out Niall’s Patreon. https://www.patreon.com/niallbreslinFollow Niall on IG @bressie, TikTok @niallbreslin, FB @whereismymindpodcast and Twitter @nbrez and visit his website: www.niallbreslin.com.If you or someone you know is struggling emotionally or feeling hopeless, it’s important to talk to someone about it now.
