正文：World leaders have been beating a steady path this year to see China.Through the first five months of 2026, 21 heads of state or government visited the country,according to Financial Times calculations based on foreign ministry data and state media. They included the leaders of Turkmenistan,Uruguay and Mozambique, as well as Germany’s Friedrich Merz, Spain’s Pedro Sánchez, Canada’s Mark Carney and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin also held back-to-back summits with China this month,underscoring the diplomatic weight now concentrated in Beijing.

Chipmaker boss's move to join Tim Cook-chaired board underlines push to maintain ties with China

正文：Jensen Huang has agreed to join the advisory board of a prestigious Chinese university that counts Apple's Tim Cook as chair, as the Nvidia chief pushes to maintain ties with Beijing. Huang, who accompanied US President Donald Trump on his recent visit to China, has accepted an invitation from Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management to join its advisory board, according to two people with knowledge of the matter. The appointment has not yet been formally announced by either Nvidia or the university. Huang was one of several tech luminaries who joined Trump on the trip for diplomatic talks.

正文：Employees have signed petitions against being tracked by A.I. and were trying to figure out who had been let go on Wednesday, as the Silicon Valley giant tries to transform into an A.I.-first company.
