In this episode, I’m diving into the real story behind Friday the 13th and questioning why we’ve been taught to fear it in the first place. I explore the Christian roots of the superstition, how pop culture amplified the idea of it being “unlucky”, and then peel back the layers to reveal something far more powerful. Long before it was feared, the number 13 was sacred, deeply connected to lunar cycles, the feminine body and goddess traditions. So how did something symbolic of intuition and creation become something we flinch at?

We also look at the suppression of feminine power through history, from goddess archetypes to witch hunts, and how superstition works psychologically through confirmation bias and fear conditioning. This episode isn’t just about a date on the calendar; it’s about reclaiming meaning! If culture can assign fear to a number, we can choose to assign power instead. Friday the 13th becomes a reminder that you don’t have to inherit every belief you were handed!!
