Will's about to go on vacation for a week, and is obsessed with the Illini right now anyway, so we dig into three movies the best we can. First, it's the hipster horror flick "They Will Kill You." Then the French body horror thriller "Alpha." And we close with Vince Vaughn/James Marsden Hulu action comedy "Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice." And we'll back in a fortnight, hopefully with an Illinois national championship.

It's the biggest hit of the year so far, and it's original (or at least based on an original book): It's Ryan Gosling in "Project Hail Mary." One of us likes it more than the other. Also, we discuss the horror sequel "Ready or Not 2: Here I Come" as well as the Ukranian historical drama "Two Prosecutors."

We've got two pretty big new movies this week: It's the wild Jessie Buckley-Christian Bale mashup "The Bride!" and then the new Pixar movie, "Hoppers." Lots going on there! In both!
And then, because the Oscars are Sunday, we make our predictions in each of the major categories. We don't remember a time the winners have been more difficult to predict.
