S7 E1 - Early Onset Parkinson’s, Body Image & Turning Pain Into Purpose with Annmarie O'Connor

    10/04/2026 | 47 mins.
Trigger Warning: This episode contains discussion of chronic illness, grief, loss, and disordered eating.

Sometimes life doesn’t just change - it asks you to become someone new.

In this episode, I sit down (again) with Annmarie O'Connor, someone who first joined me back in 2019, and whose life has transformed in ways neither of us could have imagined.

Since we last spoke, Annmarie has been diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s disease. What follows is one of the most honest, raw, and deeply human conversations we’ve had on BeBelle. From the diagnosis, to finding purpose again through storytelling, she shares it all with such courage and clarity.

This is a conversation about illness, but more than that, it’s about resilience, identity, and what it means to truly live when everything changes.

    ✨ In this episode:
Annmarie’s early symptoms and the long road to diagnosis
What Parkinson’s actually is and why it’s often misunderstood
Living with a progressive condition and the unpredictability it brings
The reality of pain, fatigue, and managing symptoms day to day
Writing her book Twitch and turning pain into purpose
Disordered eating, body image, and facing old patterns
Grief, not just for others, but for past versions of yourself
The power of visibility and breaking stigma around illness
What her friend’s passing taught her about life, friendship, and time
Why “we all have a twitch” and how our stories connect us

S6 E24 - Why I’m Changing the Way I Speak to (and About) Myself - What I learnt from Miriam Hussey

    12/11/2025 | 7 mins.
I've been saying the same thing about myself for years. It’s time I stop.

In this minisode, I’m reflecting on my conversation with Miriam Hussey - speaker, author, co-founder of Soul Space, and someone I’ve admired for years.

Miriam’s new book Light Up is out now and after our chat, I walked away with more than a reading list. What really stuck with me was how she speaks about the mind, body, and soul as a circle and how most of us are only feeding two of the three.

This episode is about changing the way we speak to ourselves, about ourselves. I’ve always said “I’ve been big my whole life” - but Miriam made me question why I keep saying it, and how that language shapes how I feel. So, I’m tracking my words. And I’m trying to speak with more care.

    ✨ In this episode:
The moment Miriam changed my mindset about the soul
    Food, self-image & what GLP-1 showed me
The problem with saying “I’ve always been like this”
How we teach children to internalise fear and shame
The impact of early language on lifelong identity
Setting small goals for mind, body and soul
Why joy is a better compass than discipline

S6 E23 - What Grandad Billy Taught Me: Marriage, Memories & Why Listening Matters

    07/11/2025 | 3 mins.
Some people just make you want to be better. Grandad Billy is one of them.

In this minisode, I’m reflecting on my conversation with Billy Kennedy - also known to many as Grandad Billy, and grandfather to Aine, the founder of The Smooth Company.

I don’t say this lightly: this episode is one of my favourites. Billy’s stories about chasing his future wife down O’Connell Street, raising six children, and finding deep meaning in love and family reminded me of what truly matters.

He may not look like your typical insurance man, but his gift for storytelling, kindness, and listening is something we can all learn from - in life, in business, and in how we show up for others.

This one will make you smile. It might make you cry. But most of all, I hope it leaves you feeling grateful - just like it did for me.

    ✨ In this episode:
The story of how he met (and won over) the love of his life
Why his marriage was the best time of his life
Raising a big family and leaving a quiet legacy
Reflections on kindness, mechanics, insurance and storytelling
What we can learn from people who really listen
Why I believe apprenticeship trades matter more than ever
My thoughts on having him join a wellness retreat (!)

S6 E22 - Why I’ll Always Take My Shoes Off in the Grass - A Reflection on Grounding & Grief with Feebee Foran

    05/11/2025 | 3 mins.
Some people bury their pain. Feebee Foran planted hers and something beautiful grew from it.

This week, I’m reflecting on my conversation with Feebee Foran, the heart behind Forager - a brand built from grief, grounded in nature, and rooted in joy.

We talked about so much: her childhood, her relationship with the earth, the loss of her father, and how digging into the soil helped her find her way again. It brought up memories of my own grief, and how movement and joy helped me heal in ways I never expected.

This minisode is about grief, yes - but also about grounding, growth, and going back to the things that made us feel alive when we were little. Whether that’s dancing, foraging, or just taking your shoes off in the grass.

    ✨ In this episode:
How Feebee turned grief into creativity
The grounding power of nature (and going barefoot!)
What I’ve learned from movement, dance and joy
How your childhood can point you back to purpose
Naming Forager and building a business from the soul
Why I believe the best businesses are born from healing

S6 E21 - She’s the One to Watch: A Reflection on Jenny Johnston O’Neill’s Passion, Purpose & Power

    31/10/2025 | 3 mins.
Some people are quietly brilliant - Jenny Johnston O’Neill is one of them.

In this minisode, I’m reflecting on my conversation with Jenny Johnston O’Neill - CEO of Azure, a marketing visionary, and someone I’ve admired from the moment I met her.

Jenny’s story is full of the kind of moments we don’t always celebrate enough - dancing at Julian Benson’s classes, working behind the scenes in agencies, seeing things differently. Her career path is proof that you don’t have to follow a traditional route to lead with impact. Her joy, her creativity, and her approach to business are magnetic - and I truly believe this is only the beginning.

We talk about marketing, making things famous, and why being “good at school” doesn’t define your success. Jenny reminded me that some of the most powerful women I know didn’t shout their way to the top - they just did the work with heart.

    ✨ In this episode:
The moment I knew Jenny was going to be someone to watch
Growing up in dance and finding confidence outside the classroom
Her marketing mindset: “How do we make it famous?”
    Loving business, without losing yourself
The connection between purpose and performance
Why I believe this is just the start for her
