I had the huge pleasure of being joined by Evan Daly on this episode and what an amazing conversation it was! Evan shared his own struggles around food at a younger age, healing that and developing his interest in nutrition and becoming a coach himself. He also shared some absolute gems about how to make a fat loss and fitness journey not only sustainable but also enjoyable! He talked about process of building and running Glean app, what it means to him and the ethos of an empathetic, person centred approach, while still getting the results, that he and Sean have made the very essence of what Glean is all about. The next Glean 8 week challenge opens on February 3rd, 10am Irish/UK time, for more information, follow the Glean Instagram page here https://www.instagram.com/gleanapp?igsh=MTJjeW1tZDFianhncQ==You can catch up with Evan and his brilliant content on his page https://www.instagram.com/evandaly_dalyfitness?igsh=MXhiMjhkN2drbHU3MQ==Loved recored this and hope you really enjoy❤️. Ep #14. Special Guest Luke Murray
In this episode I was delighted to speak with Luke Murray, an incredible physiotherapist who has such a refreshing and holistic approach to how best to manage and treat pain and injury.
We talked about when and how we can judge if it is wise to push through pain, why it is important to move our bodies, learning to trust our bodies, even if we have been neglecting them for a while and why being overweight, in and of itself, is never a good enough reason for a diagnosis. And he answers some of your questions!
Luke also shared his own really interesting story with injury and pain as a younger man, his fascinating work as a physio and his decision to then study medicine.
Luke's Instagram page is full of brilliant information and details of how to contact him. Thanks so much Luke, it was a pleasure to hear your knowledge and words of wisdom.

In this episode I discuss the fact that so many of us worry about ruining our weight loss progress over periods such as Christmas time, and the importance of reflecting on what progress actually means to us.
I also look at ways to avoid panic around food and alcohol over the holiday season, and adjusting our mindset so that we can approach Christmas without fearing it.
