Danielle Omar is an Integrative Culinary Dietitian. Through her private nutrition counseling and group coaching programs at foodconfidence.com, she has empowered thousands of women to lose weight, feel better in their body, improve health, increase energy, and stop emotional eating. Over the past 20+ years she has shared health and wellness strategies through corporate partnerships, communications agencies, writing and developing recipes, and providing spokesperson work for high-profile, multinational brands and commodities. Danielle was a content creator for My Fitness Pal for seven years and provided recipe development for Wild Blueberries of North America for four years. She served for two years as the Hass Avocado Board’s Love One Today® Weight Management and Healthy Living Expert and partnered with Pure Encapsulations as a Nutrition and Integrative Lifestyle Expert for over three years.As a health communicator and educator, Danielle has made media appearances on national television and has served as an expert consultant for The Washington Post, The New York Times, and various lifestyle magazines and news publications. In 2015, she was commissioned to write her first cookbook, Skinny Juices and in 2020 she released her second book, Super Green Smoothies.Danielle held a permanent teaching position in nutrition science for over 10 years, a commitment she started while earning her Masters degree in Health Sciences. She served as the 2019-2020 Chair for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics practice group, Dietitians in Integrative & Functional Medicine (DIFM). She also served as Chair of the Council on Dietetics Practice for Northern Virginia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
