EP 427 Your Thyroid Questions Answered | RT3, Hashimotos, T3 Dosing & more with Paul Robinson.

    03/06/2026 | 1h 2 mins.
In today’s podcast episode, I’m joined once again by thyroid expert and author Paul Robinson for a listener-led thyroid Q&A session. After our first thyroid conversation was so well received, I invited members from my Facebook community to submit their biggest thyroid-related questions, and we covered a wide range of topics surrounding hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s, T3 therapy, reverse T3, thyroid labs, symptoms, body temperature, hormone balance, and more.
Some of the questions discussed in this episode include:
    • Is reverse T3 testing important?
    • How low is too low for TSH?
    • Why do some people with Hashimoto’s struggle to convert T4 into T3?
    • What do high thyroglobulin and anti-thyroglobulin antibodies mean?
    • How can you support better T4 to T3 conversion?
    • Why do some people worsen on natural desiccated thyroid?
    • Can T3 dosing schedules change as healing occurs?
    • Can BHRT change thyroid medication needs?
    • Is there a connection between hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s, and migraines?
    • Can you still have hypothyroid symptoms with a “normal” body temperature?
    • What markers can help identify reverse T3 issues when testing is unavailable?
    • How can symptoms, pulse, blood pressure, and temperature help guide T3 dosing?
This conversation is educational, nuanced, and filled with practical insights for those navigating thyroid symptoms and thyroid treatment.

Paul Robinson is the author of:
    • The Thyroid Patient’s Manual
    • Recovering with T3
    • The CT3M Handbook

Whether you are newly diagnosed, struggling despite “normal labs,” or wanting a deeper understanding of thyroid physiology and treatment approaches, I hope this conversation helps you feel more informed and empowered.

Paul Robinson is a thyroid patient and thyroid patient advocate. Paul wrote 'The CT3M Handbook' as a companion book to 'Recovering with T3' to explain more about raising cortisol levels if needed. And Paul wrote his third book ‘The Thyroid Patient’s Manual’. This book covers all types of thyroid medications (T4, T4/T3, NDT, and T3). His newest book "Articles on Hypothyroidism" combines the best of what Paul has discovered on his 35 year thyroid journey.

EP 426 Navigating Grief and Healing | A Conversation with Carole Murko.

    18/05/2026 | 49 mins.
In this episode, Carole Murko and I have an honest conversation about grief, healing, loss, heartache, and the different ways people process pain. We discuss navigating grief after loss, learning to cope with difficult emotions, and why healing looks different for everyone.
I share my experience with grief and why silence felt overwhelming during my healing journey — how music, conversation, and constant connection helped me cope during one of the hardest seasons of my life. Carole shares her perspective while navigating her husband’s cancer diagnosis and her mother’s illness, and how silence, presence, and reflection have helped her process grief in a different way.
    In this conversation, we discuss:
    How people process grief differently
Coping with grief and emotional pain
    Healing after loss and heartbreak
The connection between grief and love
Learning to be present during difficult seasons
    Mental and emotional healing
Finding comfort through connection, silence, or reflection
Grief has no timeline and no single “right way” to heal. Whether you need noise, silence, people, prayer, music, or space - healing is so deeply personal.
If you are navigating grief, loss, heartbreak, or emotional pain, we hope this conversation helps you feel seen and understood. Please reach out if you need some support xo

EP 425 PT5 Morley Robbins | The Body Fat Switch, Adrenal Support, & Hidden Imbalances.

    05/05/2026 | 1h 31 mins.
Is “adrenal fatigue” really about your adrenals… or is something deeper driving the crash? In this episode, I sit down with Morley Robbins to unpack the real root of low energy, burnout, stubborn body fat, and hormone dysfunction - and why minerals like copper and iron may be the missing piece.
We go beyond surface-level advice and explore how metabolism, inflammation, thyroid health, and even your immune system are all connected through mineral balance.
If you’ve been struggling with fatigue, weight loss resistance, or confusing lab results… this conversation will challenge what you think you know.
    ⏱️ What we cover:
    • Why “adrenal fatigue” may actually be a metabolic + mineral issue
    • The connection between copper, iron, and inflammation
    • How excess iron can drive oxidative stress and fatigue
    • Why copper is essential for ATP (energy) production
    • The “body fat switch” and what’s really blocking fat loss
    • Thyroid function and its relationship to mineral status
    • Hair mineral testing patterns (high magnesium, low sodium) and what they may suggest
    • Why hepcidin could be a more useful marker for iron regulation
    • The overlooked role of the spleen in immune function + pathogen control
    • Parasite cleanses - when they help and when they don’t
    • Organic vs conventional foods and mineral density
    • Case study: genetics, zinc/copper balance, and thyroid dysfunction
This is a deep dive ... but if you’re ready to understand your body on a whole new level, you’re going to love it.
Morley Robbins, MBA, CHC, aka “Magnesium Man”, is one of the foremost experts on magnesium's role in the body, as well as the delicate dance between Iron and Copper. He is a voice to listen to closely when considering Iron and always ready to answer questions from his followers.

EP 424 Is it ADHD...Or Hormones? The Perimenopause Misdiagnosis with Adele Wimsett.

    28/04/2026 | 1h
In this conversation, I sit down with Adele Wimsett to explore a growing and often misunderstood topic: ADHD symptoms in perimenopause, and whether they may actually be rooted in hormonal imbalances rather than a true neurodevelopmental condition.
We dive into Adele’s research, “The Perfect Storm,” which examines how hormonal fluctuations in naturally menstruating perimenopausal women may influence ADHD-like traits.
    Together, we discuss:
    - Why ADHD symptoms and low progesterone/high adrenaline can look nearly identical
    - The role of the central nervous system in focus, overwhelm, and emotional regulation
    - How declining progesterone may contribute to anxiety, restlessness, poor sleep, and brain fog
    - Why many women feel unheard, dismissed, or misdiagnosed
    - The growing confusion around hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and mainstream messaging on estrogen (which annoys us both!)
    - Why testing can sometimes add more overwhelm than clarity
    - The importance of returning to foundations: nutrition, blood sugar balance, sleep, and circadian rhythm
We also walk through a more grounded approach:
    - Start with lifestyle and nervous system support
    - Assess and support hormonal balance (including progesterone)
    - Then explore ADHD diagnosis and medication if symptoms persist

This episode is for women navigating perimenopause who feel overwhelmed, misdiagnosed, or unsure which direction to take with their health.

EP 423 The Hidden Link Between Toxins, Hormones and Emotional Health with Kyle Hulbert.

    21/04/2026 | 58 mins.
What if your hormone imbalance, low energy, or emotional disconnection isn’t just hormones… but toxic overload? In this episode, I sit down with Kyle Hulbert, CEO of the Longevity Center and host of Longevity Unlocked, to explore the powerful connection between detoxification, hormones, and mental health in both men and women.
We go beyond the typical “detox phases” conversation and break down the real-life signs of toxic overload - including low testosterone in men, estrogen imbalances in women, chronic infections, low motivation, and emotional numbness.
We also explore how poor detoxification may impact hormone balance, emotional awareness, and overall resilience.
    In this episode, we cover:
Signs of toxic overload in men and women
The connection between detoxification and hormone imbalance
Low testosterone, estrogen imbalance, and emotional health
Why some people feel emotionally numb, avoidant, or disconnected
Chronic bacterial, fungal, and yeast issues (like athlete’s foot) as deeper signals
The role of binders in detox (activated charcoal, bentonite, zeolite)
Chelation therapy, Herxheimer reactions, and detox symptoms
Parasite cleanses: when to consider them
Detoxification in children - what to know
    EMFs and modern toxic exposure
What NOT to do when trying to detox
If you’ve been struggling with hormone imbalances, low energy, brain fog, or feeling “off,” this conversation will give you a deeper understanding of how detoxification pathways impact your health.

Kyle Hulbert is the CEO of the Longevity Center, the co-host of Longevity Unlocked, and a wellness and integrative nutrition coach specializing in detoxification. Kyle was struggling with alcoholism, anxiety, and depression while living a dream life in Dubai and finishing his master’s in 2019. When he discovered that the root cause was heavy metals and low testosterone levels, he went down the rabbit hole of detox, integrative health, and biohacking, eventually earning his coaching certifications.
