Dr. Fendrick recounts his career and how he managed to get VBID language in healthcare laws under both Republican and Democratic legislatures, and that focusing on out-of-pocket patient costs has proved a beneficial strategy to getting policy passed. Dr. Fendrick closes the discussion talking about the future of healthcare in America, from the devestating loss of coverage due to changing administrations to the promise and danger of AI in the healthcare space.
