And don’t worry, I’ll probably be dead asleep the second I get home.成交。放心吧，我回家估计倒头就睡。⭐dead 是一个典型的 “副词性强化语”，用来极度地、彻底地、完全地修饰后面的形容词，相当于completely, absolutely, totally，但语气更强、更生动dead tired = 累死了，精疲力竭（体力或精神上完全耗尽）dead serious = 绝对严肃，非常认真（没有一丝开玩笑的成分）dead right = 完全正确，说得一点没错dead wrong = 大错特错例句：After the marathon, I was dead tired and just wanted to sleep.马拉松赛后，我累瘫了，只想睡觉。The lake was dead calm in the morning, like a mirror.清晨的湖面平静如镜。“You mean we won the lottery?” “Dead right!”“你是说我们中彩票了？”“完全正确！”If you think you can finish this alone in an hour, you’re dead wrong.如果你觉得能一个人在一小时内搞定这事，那你就大错特错了。I didn’t see his face clearly, but I’m dead sure it was him who took the keys.我没看清他的脸，但我百分之百肯定是他拿走了钥匙。
