Ep 95: Brother Richard: ' Peace Between the Kingdoms'
Send us a textListeners, I very much needed this chat with Capuchin Franciscan Priest-Friar, Brother Richard. I hope you feel you get a lot from it too.We discuss Brother Richard's personal encounters with Otherworldly beings, first as a child and later as a Priest-Friar. He also talks about the Franciscan Order's understandings of Non-Human beings, they steps they take when protection is required or in rare cases exorcism, and he shares his own experiences of aiding in these circumstances. We also discuss: - Rites of Passage (particularly in relation to young people)- Offerings to Otherworldly beingsand so much more.I found Brother Richard's suggestion of prayer when in a wild place such a gift:"Bless every being present, seen and unseen, even the beings I pass by, around or through, without knowing."Contacts:Brother Richard on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brorichard/⭐️ If you would like to make a donation to Brother Richard's work, please support his Order's daycare centre for the Homeless ⭐️: http://www.capuchindaycentre.ie/Books and Podcasts discussed:I highly recommend his new book: 'Calming the Storms: Meditation as a Path to Inner Peace and Happiness' Calming the Storms by Brother Richardhttps://www.awesomebooks.com/book/9781399732017/calming-the-storms?msclkid=e74d9d433d6412437ba5fa271ead2739Extraterrestrial Intelligence and the Catholic Faith by Paul Thigpen https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/60772154-extraterrestrial-intelligence-and-the-catholic-faithDissertations upon the apparitions of angels, dæmons, and ghosts, and concerning the vampires of Hungary, Bohemia, Moravia, and Silesia by Father Dom Augustin Calmethttps://archive.org/details/bim_eighteenth-century_dissertations-upon-the-a_calmet-augustin_1759Podcast episode around young people and rites of passagehttps://www.theearthlydelightspodcast.com/podcast/106-brother-richard-hendrickSupport the showBecome a Patron! Ep 94: Otherworldly Hiking Encounter (Sedona, Arizona)
Send us a textI chat to Tim about a strange interaction which took place during a hike and tapped deeply into his psyche. It marked both a shift in Tim's life direction and a return to his underlying sense of 'true' self and an openness in life which had slipped away during adulthood. It continues to hold meaning in his current relationships. We discuss how our home environment as a child shapes how we interact with the Otherworld and how, as an adult we can lose our sense of 'being'.I hope you enjoy this discussion. The discussion he watched between Patrick Harpur and 'a philosopher' was the interview between Patrick and Bernardo Kastrup.https://youtu.be/r4hEOJQpbiw?si=NTraD-Iog8xMCEzxSupport the showBecome a Patron! Ep 93: Fairies of Hedges and Homes (Sheffield, England)
Send us a textThis is the story of a woman from Sheffield in the North of England, who experienced a fairy flying out from a hedge near her home, in an area which had already felt particularly special to her. She later encountered an imp while staying in a holiday cottage with her family. With a history of mediumship that seems to have been passed down her ancestral lineage through her great grandmothers (listen to the full extended version on Patreon for a discussion on her mediumship experiences) , Corinne shares how her abilities showed up initially and how she was ultimately able to use visualisation to release a fairy being who appeared to be unwittingly 'stuck' in this material plane. This episode was recorded in July 2024. ⭐️ BONUS ⭐️ In the extended full length P A T R E O N version we also hear about our guest's encounter with the Angel Metatron and how her experiences with the Otherworld continue to inspire her artwork.
