EASY ENGLISH GRAMMAR POINT for EPISODE #15
For today’s episode, please use the interview as a review of the grammar points covered in all the episodes so far.
EASY ENGLISH USAGE POINT for EPISODE #15
For the English usage point, I would like to point out a phrase that Anthony uses. He uses the phrase, “get a kick out of” This phrase is used by English speakers when they want to describe something that they think will be enjoyable for themselves or for another person. Listen near the end of today’s podcast for when Anthony says that he thinks that his kids would “really get a kick out of a visit to Japan”.

“My kids would really get a kick out of visiting Japan.”

EASY ENGLISH GRAMMAR POINT for EPISODE #14
For today’s episode, please listen to the way Travis and Kris talk about abilities. Especially, listen for the phrase “be able to”. This phrase is used to describe abilities or things you are allowed to do.
    For example:
“You need to be able to get past communication problems.”
    or
“I’m able to go to Japan this summer.”
EASY ENGLISH USAGE POINT for EPISODE #14
The second thing I would like to focus on in today’s interview is a phrase that Travis uses during the interview. The phrase is “for the most part”. This phrase suggests that something usually happens or happens in most cases. It is a generalization that the speaker uses so the listener knows how often you can expect a certain action to happen.
    For example:
“For the most part, people in Japan focus on small details.”
