- As far as the sciences go, astronomy is as old as it gets! We've been looking at the stars in an empirical manner for millennia. How do we approach observation astronomy today? With incredible telescopes of course, but what are we looking for and what do we do with the data? Let Meir tell you all about it!Contact Meir with all your questions: meirschochet06@gmail.comStellar rotation GIF (Zach Claytor): https://claytorastro.wixsite.com/homeStellar rotation GIF (light curve, James A. Taking the square root of something give you the number that, when squared, gives the original number. Cube roots are the same, but they are the opposite of cubing. Let's go over some of the basic ways we can ask and answer these questions, along with a little cultural context so that you don't insult anyone important with informality!Script by Patrizia Farina, Professor of Italian at Western Connecticut State University and Purchase College.Watch the whole Italian playlist: http://bit.ly/ProfDaveItalianAmerican History Tutorials: http://bit.ly/ProfDaveAmericanHistoryClassical Physics Tutorials: http://bit.ly/ProfDavePhysics1Modern Physics Tutorials: http://bit.ly/ProfDavePhysics2General Chemistry Tutorials: http://bit.ly/ProfDaveGenChemOrganic Chemistry Tutorials: http://bit.ly/ProfDaveOrgChemBiochemistry Tutorials: http://bit.ly/ProfDaveBiochemBiology Tutorials: http://bit.ly/ProfDaveBioEMAIL► ProfessorDaveExplains@gmail.comPATREON► http://patreon.com/ProfessorDaveExplainsCheck out "Is This Wi-Fi Organic?", my book on disarming pseudoscience!Amazon: https://amzn.to/2HtNpVHBookshop: https://bit.ly/39cKADMBarnes and Noble: https://bit.ly/3pUjmrn Book Depository: http://bit.ly/3aOVDlT

Hopefully we remember Maclaurin series and Taylor series from our study of calculus. These will actually have an important application here, as we can use infinite sums to approximate the solutions to differential equations. This can get a little dicey, but let's learn some tricks, such as the general Leibniz rule.Script by Lorcan NichollsWatch the whole Differential Equations playlist: http://bit.ly/ProfDaveDiffeqWatch the whole Mathematics playlist: http://bit.ly/ProfDaveMathClassical Physics Tutorials: http://bit.ly/ProfDavePhysics1Modern Physics Tutorials: http://bit.ly/ProfDavePhysics2General Chemistry Tutorials: http://bit.ly/ProfDaveGenChemOrganic Chemistry Tutorials: http://bit.ly/ProfDaveOrgChemBiochemistry Tutorials: http://bit.ly/ProfDaveBiochemBiology Tutorials: http://bit.ly/ProfDaveBioEMAIL► ProfessorDaveExplains@gmail.comPATREON► http://patreon.com/ProfessorDaveExplainsCheck out "Is This Wi-Fi Organic?", my book on disarming pseudoscience!Amazon: https://amzn.to/2HtNpVHBookshop: https://bit.ly/39cKADMBarnes and Noble: https://bit.ly/3pUjmrn Book Depository: http://bit.ly/3aOVDlT

About Professor Dave Explains
Welcome! I have a knack for explaining stuff and I want to share some knowledge with you.I received a BA in chemistry from Carleton College, and performed graduate studies in both synthetic organic chemistry and science education at Cal State Northridge, receiving an MA in the latter. Prior to this I taught for about a decade in various high school and undergraduate settings, specializing in organic chemistry but also teaching general chemistry, physics, and biology. This channel is for students at the high school and undergraduate level, but it is also for members of the general public who just want to know more about the world and how things work. My goal is to increase science literacy in our society, so please share these tutorials with anyone that you think might enjoy them. Happy learning!Support my channel: https://www.patreon.com/professordaveexplainsCheck out my book "Is This Wi-Fi Organic?": https://amzn.to/2HtNpVHOChem help here: https://chemmunity.info/daveLinks:Support Dave: http://patreon.com/professordaveexplainsFacebook: http://facebook.com/professordaveexplainsInstagram: http://instagram.com/daveexplainsAmazon Author: https://www.amazon.com/~/e/B08W2749Y9
