We hear how the family initially dealt with hearing of this new diagnosis and how they coped with the journey through treatment. Dolores and Des share their emotional story with us and offers their advice to other parents of a child with ALL.

The start of all cancer journeys is life changing. Getting a diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia is devastating for patients and their families. The schedule of treatment can be overwhelming but all cancer journeys are different. What does life look like after a diagnosis and what should patients and their families expect and how can they prepare for this journey?
