    In Episode 4 of the Nervous System Series, we go into why survival mode literally turns off your body's signals, what years of overriding your hunger actually trained your brain to do, and why tuning inward can feel actively scary when your body is holding unprocessed emotions.     The 2026 Breakdown That Made Me Rebuild Myself and My Business

    Two and a half months ago, I had a breakdown bad enough that I had two choices: completely change how I was running my business, or quit.
    I chose to rebuild myself, and every facet of how I was running my business (boy was it hard). And this episode is me finally telling you what that actually looked like. 
    For years, I had been normalizing monthly breakdowns. Curled up on the bed, crying for hours, convinced I was a failure. Luke holding me together. I thought it was just the cost of running a business. It wasn't. It was life throwing boulders at me trying to get my attention. I had received about 20 too many before I finally listened.
    In this episode, I'm sharing the full story: how being the "good student" without trusting myself led me to build someone else's business, what my nervous system was doing even when I knew logically I was fine, and what the rebuild has actually looked like, including a 60% income increase that happened when I stopped pushing so hard.
    These patterns aren't just mine. The perfectionism, the all-or-nothing, the looking outside yourself for answers while ignoring your own signals. That's exactly what's showing up in your relationship with food too. This episode is for anyone who has been running on empty and calling it discipline.
