- There's a version of success that looks impressive from the outside, and then there's the version that actually feels good to live.
In this episode, I'm continuing our series on The Rules We're No Longer Following by asking a bigger question: what if the goal isn't simply to build a successful business, but to build a life you genuinely want to be living?
Because success isn't only found in the launches, revenue, opportunities, or milestones. It's in the ordinary Tuesdays. It's how you feel when you finish work, whether you have the energy to be present with the people you love, and whether the business you've built is actually giving you more of the life you wanted in the first place.
I'm talking about how my own definition of success has evolved through motherhood, why I've become much more intentional about the opportunities I say yes to, and why ambition and presence don't have to compete. Your business can create wealth, impact, freedom, and stability while still supporting the person you want to be outside of it.
In this episode, I'm talking about:
Why building a successful business means very little if you don't enjoy the life it creates
How my definition of success has changed as I've moved through motherhood and different seasons of life
Why the ordinary days matter just as much as the big milestones
The question I ask myself before saying yes to clients, opportunities, events, and commitments
Why not every exciting opportunity is aligned with the life you actually want
How to stop borrowing your definition of success from social media, your industry, or other people
Why work and family don't have to compete and how business can become the vehicle for creating more choice
How motherhood has taught me to protect my time, energy, boundaries, and priorities
Why sustainable stability matters more than growing the quickest or scaling the fastest
How to define your own values, priorities, pace, dreams, and version of "enough"
Why so many of our business goals are really life goals underneath
What it looks like to build a business that supports your life rather than asking you to sacrifice it
You don't have to prove your ambition through exhaustion or postpone enjoying your life until you hit the next milestone. You get to decide what success means to you, and build your business around that definition.
Listen to the full episode for an invitation to rethink what you're building toward and create a version of success that feels just as good to live as it looks from the outside.

In this episode, I'm continuing our series on the rules we're no longer following with one that keeps so many ambitious women stuck: the belief that once you've chosen a path, you have to stay on it. Even when you've changed. Even when your priorities have shifted. Even when something inside you is telling you it's time for something different.
I'm sharing some of the biggest pivots I've made in my own life and business, from leaving teaching and changing the direction of my work to becoming a mom and rethinking what success needed to look like for me. Because changing your mind doesn't make everything that came before a mistake. Sometimes, that chapter did exactly what it needed to do, and now it's time to turn the page.
In this episode, I'm talking about:
Why staying consistent doesn't have to mean staying the same
How fear of what other people will think can keep you committed to decisions you've already outgrown
The major changes I've made throughout my career, life, and business and why I chose to make them
How motherhood changed my relationship with ambition, success, freedom, and the business I wanted to build
Why the version of you who made yesterday's decisions doesn't have to live with them forever
The sunk cost fallacy and why what you've already invested shouldn't automatically dictate what you do next
How to recognise when your business needs to evolve alongside you
The changes I've recently made to my own brand, offers, audience, and way of working
Why changing your mind doesn't mean the chapter you're leaving behind was a mistake
The questions to ask yourself when you know something no longer fits but you're afraid to choose differently
You don't owe your past self a future that no longer feels like yours. You're allowed to evolve, rethink what you want, build differently, and become someone you couldn't have imagined when you made those original decisions.
Listen to the full episode to hear why changing your mind might be one of the boldest and most important decisions you make.

Most of us inherited a blueprint for success that rewards constant availability, endless hours, and a straight line from goal to goal, never stopping, never stepping back. But life isn't linear. Energy isn't linear. Kids, hormones, sleep, and everything else that makes up a real life? Definitely not linear. So why do we keep measuring ourselves against a model that was never designed for women, let alone mothers, in the first place?
In this episode, we're unpacking one of the biggest lies of modern ambition: that success requires sacrifice. That you have to earn your rest, survive your launches, and wait for some future finish line before you're finally allowed to enjoy your life. We're flipping that idea on its head, because building a business that fuels your life instead of draining it isn't just possible, it's a completely different (and better) way to lead.
If you've ever felt like you're chasing a goalpost that keeps moving, this episode is your permission slip to stop, question the rulebook, and start designing a version of success that actually feels like freedom.
In this episode, I'm talking about:
Why so many ambitious women feel like they're "surviving" success instead of enjoying it
The difference between building a business to rescue you versus building one to fuel your life
Why growth without intention just becomes another form of pressure
Learning to say no, and why it's earned me as much as saying yes ever has
The courage it takes to build slowly, protect your time, and rest without guilt
Why productivity isn't the same as peace, and peace is the real indicator of sustainability
How becoming a mom made me more intentional, not less ambitious
Why your identity and self-worth were never meant to be tied to your revenue
The philosophy behind "Business Done Better" and what it really means to build better, not just bigger
Three powerful questions to help you get honest about whether your business is fueling your life or quietly stealing from it

Behind every ambitious dream is usually something much bigger: more time with your family, greater security, the freedom to make choices, or the chance to show the next generation what's possible.
In this episode, we're exploring why success is about so much more than personal achievement. Because when one woman builds a life on her own terms, the impact doesn't stop with her. It changes her family, influences her community, and gives others permission to dream bigger, too.
If you've ever questioned whether your ambition is worth it, this conversation will remind you that your success creates a ripple effect far beyond what you can see.
In this episode, I'm talking about:
Why your success is about more than just you.
The power of representation and why seeing women succeed changes what's possible for others.
How motherhood can deepen your ambition instead of diminishing it.
Why money is rarely the end goal, but the freedom and opportunities it creates.
The ripple effect of women building profitable, purpose-driven businesses.
How your decisions quietly shape what your children and others believe is possible.
Why leadership isn't about status, but about creating opportunities for future generations.
How building wealth can strengthen families, communities, and lasting legacies.
Three powerful questions to help you think about the impact your success can have on the people around you.

The right time to raise your prices. Launch your idea. Change careers. Invest in yourself. Say no. Think bigger.
So many of us believe we're waiting for more confidence, more experience, or someone else's approval. But underneath it all is a much deeper question: Am I allowed?
In this episode, we're breaking the habit of waiting for permission to build the life and business you truly want. Because confidence doesn't come before the leap. It comes because you took it.
If you've been holding yourself back, waiting until you feel more ready, this conversation is the reminder you've been needing.
In this episode, I'm talking about:
Why so many women wait for permission before making big decisions.
The hidden ways we seek approval without even realising it.
Why confidence is built through action, not before it.
The difference between seeking permission and asking for support.
How people-pleasing can quietly hold you back from leading.
Why becoming a leader means making decisions that not everyone will understand.
How waiting for the "perfect time" keeps you stuck.
What happens when you stop shrinking your ambition to make other people comfortable.
Three powerful questions to help you stop waiting and start deciding.
