Dr. Theodosakis is a physician scientist at Massachusetts General Hospital who completed his MD/PhD at Yale School of Medicine before going on to pursue a combined dermatology residency and research fellowship at the Harvard Combined Dermatology Residency Program. Today, Dr. Theodosakis tells us about his path to dermatology, what it looks like to have a career as a physician scientist and interesting recent findings from his lab that impact our understanding of the skin. Dr. Theodosakis also discusses opportunities for students to work in his research lab. We wrap up with general advice for students interested in research as well as building an application for the field of dermatology. We hope you enjoy!
